I have a optima xm6, it is keeping ringing after a power cut. there is only power led showing, none of mode or zone led is showing I have tried code ####, not work I have tried reset to factory settings in a bid to cure problem but still no change. I have tried to enter engineer mode, it does not work I have disconnected the battery-power off-poweron-code ####, still not work. can anyone advise me how to solve this problem without call out an engineer?

Hi all, New to the Forums, so apologies if in wring section; mods please move if needed. There's lots of posts slating Yale products, but I can't understand why? Is it because they are ungraded? Or is there another reason I should know (I have one myself!). Sorry if this is a basic question. I searched, but could find nothing saying why they were bad, just that they are! Thanks in advance.

Good Day to you Gents, In a bid to save money, I decided to repair my home alarm system and replace the exterior bell sounder. Having done a bit of research, I wired the new Honeywell AG6 Bell system up as indicated in the picture attached, however I am now unable to set the alarm as the 350 Panel LED indicates "tamper". Could any of you please you have a look at the wiring to see where I have gone wrong and offer any advice? I have attached a picture of the old bell box wiring setup which I took prior to removal. Hi all, I'm very new to working on intruder alarms, this being my 3rd. I modified an existing Veritas 8 system by adding a PIR and a door contact. The alarm when in walk test mode is making two very short chirps at intervals of about 2 seconds. This isn't the normal chirps it makes when the Zone two device activates in walk test mode, but much shorter chirps. There are no lit tampers, and no lit faults. When it is chirping for zone activations, the shorter chirps are absent. Is the panel just reminding me it's in walk test mode, or is there some other unspecified (in the manual) problem I should be investigating. I'd be grateful for your assis…

Hi, I'm bench testing my new alarm system. Have a Premier Elite 24, LCDP Keypad, COM-IP, Premier DT PIR. The panel is working with the keypad and PIRS (tried contecting a couple of them). I can connect using Wintex from my PC to the panel and program it. I got a Premier Elite 8XP remote expander. I connect it to the panel to the Network connectors (same place the keypad is connected) and power up. The 8XP powers up but doesn't connect to the network (Wintex diagnostics tell me it's offline). Hello, I am trying to activate phone call in Pyronix Enforcer 32-WE. I have tried putting my phone number instead of ARC, my phone is ringing well when alarm is triggered but nothing happens when I take the call(no message).I read that ARC messages are DTMF tone, so, How can I have notification on my mobile phone when alarm triggering ? Another one question, Can I call to Enforcer from a phone to activate my alarm or deactive it remotely ? Thanks.

Hi Technical, I wondered if you could advise me, as i have the Texecom Veritas R8 system. I have 8 sensors, 3 remote key pads, control panel R8 and 2 external alarm boxes. However my 2 old alarm bell boxes was not the Texecom odyssey brand. My front Alarm Bell box was faulty, as the alarm was keep triggering off, this was the 1st Alarm bell box at the front of the house. Battery voltage on the multimeter reading it was 11.20volt. I have the following: Accenta mini gen 4 AD-01 Auto dialler AG6 External sounder & strobe. 1) How do I wire the Auto dialler into the gen 4? Terminals on Auto dialler are: Tamp (x2), TR2, TR1, 0v & 12v+. Evening all, I've gone to go out and arm my texecom system today, however when pressing 'area' to quick arm, the keypad produces a long beep and says 'keypad locked!' I have tried pressing yes and no down together to unlock the keypad, but it doesn't seem to work. Wintex works fine though. Will it be a case of power cycling the panel or am I overlooking something?

Hi all. I have a friend who has a Visonic GE350-ATS4 installed in his house. The system has worked flawlessly for the past 2 years but now it has develop this beep every minute. Now, I have never done security alarms, my background is fire alarms and I'm an electrician by trade. As a very good friend of mine I decided to look into this issue. Sadly, he does not has the manual. Anyone knows what this beep refers to or where can I find the manual? A google search was not productive. Many thanks. Albert

Hi there, The previous owners of our house had two dome cameras installed (one at the front and one at the rear) and just left the cables dangling in the loft. I've attached some pics but from what I can tell they are 2 x siamese cables, each having a single video + live + neutral. The live + neutral cables are crimped together so I'm left with the following: - 2 x video connectors - 1 x live wire - 1 x neutral wire I've no idea how to reconnect these other than to assume I need some sort of DVR box for the video connectors but have no idea what to do with the power cables.
