I am working on a home automation project and would like to control my Risco Agility 3 alarm from it. i can control my alarm through their cloud website and the app, but would like to know if there are any local ports / urls or whatever which I can connect to. any ideas?

  2. Hi, I'm going to install my new Risco VUPoint outdoor IP camera, and I'd like to connect it to my Risco Agility 3 alarm system and the Cloud. I have attached my camera to my router and I see images via my browser correctly. Unfortunately I can't connect it to the cloud. Following manuals I found that I have to go to riscocloud.com/ELAS/WAAPP in order to setup my camera with my agility 3 and the cloud. When I try to login with the credentials that I usually use in https://riscocloud.com/ELAS/WebUI the page remain in the login form without access. Can someone help me to configure my camera with risco cloud? Thanks

Hi. Fitted an Abacus 8 system to my house some years back, it has served me well. As I have been dogged with random PIR sourced false alarms over recent years and also as they are looking rather dated I would now like to replace them with more modern units. Thought about replacing with duals this time around and wondered what any recommendations might be, need to be reliable as I am spending longer periods away and false alarms are causing problems with neighbours. It is not a monitored system I have 5 to replace in rooms approximately 13' x 13' and would look to spending up to £125 in total, less preferably. …

Morning everyone. First post so be gentle with me! Fitted my own Accents G4 mini alarm with autodialler when we moved into our house around 6 yrs ago. All working perfect until a week ago. Went to bed one night last week and tried set my alarm on Prog 2 for downstairs only but came up with a setting fault on the first PIR in the hall. I then realised that all 7 PIRs on the system were dead, no LEDs light on the front of any of the PIRs when movement is detected. Went into Walk Test in engineer mode and all 7 PIRs are registering as activated. Opened up the panel and fuse F2 had blown. Ordered some replacements and reinstal…

  7. I want to physically wire a Deltabell to a Pyronix HomeControl+ wireless alarm. Hopefully the attached picture is not too far off the mark. I think the 2K2 resistor is not relevant if it's just an ordinary input of type Tamper. I'm assuming PGM can drive Engineer Holdoff, and STB->STB, BELL->BELL is a wild guess :). Where I'm most unsure is what type to make the three outputs. Are STB and BELL already "pre-programmed" in that fixed function?. For PGM driving holdoff, I have read here to make the output of type Engineer Access. Looking at the output type table I find 0059 : Engineer Access Active : When entering Engineer mode. Restore : W…

Hi, I'm looking for a simple alarm system that just has two contact sensors for door / window, no desire to have PIR. I can't find any kit that offers this, and I wouldn't know what products to buy to build it my self. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Hi and thanks in advance for any advice given here. I have a texecom premier elite 24 panel. Yesterday I replaced my old bell boxes with two new Odyssey x-BE boxes. I have followed the instructions regarding wiring from the manual...but I've got a problem. FRONT bell box has left light only flashing...according to hand book it says its stuck on HOLD-OFF mode. Rear bell box has the 2 flashing light working so that box seems to be working ok. I've rang texecom support and I'm totally at a loss,,,I've been at this 2 days and checked and rechecked wiring. Could someone please give me a easy step by step guide to sort this,…

  14. Hi The system is based around a Scantronic PD9651 with four Honeywell IS312 PIRs with fsl wiring. It was installed around four months ago and has been operating properly until now. Last night a false alarm condition occurred after the system had been fully set for about a week. The relevant part of the log reads: 22.07.06 Burg Z04 Alarm 22.07.09 Burg Z04 Restore 22.10.23 Burg Z04 Alarm 22.10.26 Burg Z04 Restore 22.25.24 Z04 Lock Out 22.25.24 System Rearmed I have checked the connections inside the PIR and all appear to be good and tight and the resistor legs appear to be sound and not crossed. Noneth…

I'm looking at installing a system in an industrial unit, nothing that complicated; Control panel with batter back up keypad (possibly prox) PSTN dialler Bell / sounder 2 x door contacts 2 x PIR's / sensors 2 x Smoke detectors I had considered a wireless system as the majority of sensors / stuff will be at the opposite end of the building from the panel, but the consensus seems to be that wired is more secure & less troublesome, so my preference would be a hard wired Honewell system. I was looking at the Accenta initially, but the cost increases noticeably when a PSTN dialler is added , so I'm now looking at something along…
