  1. Thank you for the help. I've not tested this yet, but it makes sense. To summarise the issues resolved: 1. Ensure PIRs are in AUTO mode 2. Untick option 26 and 27 for "bells on confirmed alarm" (switched off)
  2. I've done another capture in WinTex of the events The events below show the alarm arming, and then me leaving the system for a couple of minutes to settle. I then activate the zone 009 PIR (Toilet!) - the action is registered by the alarm (active) but no bells. After a minute, I then activate zone 011 and the alarm activates + bells + confirmed alarm. 0478 5:54:22 PM 12/07/2016 Not Reported A . . . 3. Okay from the comments posted (thanks by the way!) I've changed the PIR's into "AUTO" mode instead of Hybrid. I'm thinking the comments about a single device/zone not triggering a confirmed alarm is the problem - my expectation is it would set bells active. Are you suggesting that if somebody breaks into a single room (i.e. lounge) the PIR would detect this, but not set bells active because only a single sensor has detected it ? Bit pointless if thats the case!
  4. Thank you for the comments so far! Assume "WARD" is "AREA" in Texecom terms - then everything is set to area "A" - I only have a single area configured. Frustrated with this!! :-(
  5. Don't think so, the cat triggered the sensor after about 3 hours (accidentally left internal door open and cat wondered in!) however the bells didn't go off :-(
  6. I've got a Texecom Premier Elite 48W - DIY installed. There are a mix of wired PIR's and Wireless Ricochet PIR's. No faults or issues on the panel or event log, walk test is okay and all sensors respond, commissioning jumper is removed. The problem I have is, when the wireless PIR is triggered when alarm is armed, the Wintex event log shows "Alarm - Zone 010 Guard Alarm", followed by "Not Reported/Alarm Active" however the bell doesn't trigger. If I do the same with the wired PIR, I get event logs of "Alarm - Zone 003 Guard Alarm" followed by "Confirmed intruder" and "Confirmed alarm" then "Bell active". I can't find any options that seem to affect this behaviour - why is it doing it ?!?
