I installed a Gartec 595 system some years ago its now developed a problem, to repair I require a replacement end panel pcb if possible. If not I will replace system, it would be nice if I could use existing wiring etc so any recommends would be appreciated. I require end panel with 8 zones, 3 remote zone interfaces/expanders 4 zones each, 2 remote lcd kp, Thank you

Some years back we bought a new house and was able to get the sparks to run alarm cable in for us even though we bought from a national house builder group. When we moved in I bought an Abacus system and fitted it myself with no problems. We moved into an older house some six years back which has a Risco system fitted. I've just installed a HKC GSM - Q unit in my panel. SMS options allow the reporting of "System Faults". I thought this might include mains failure, but it doesn't when the option is set to "yes". Is a "system fault" loss of battery power to the board and some other things?

Would really appreciate some help. I am fairly decent DIY’er. We have moved home and the new property has an alarm installed but it hasn’t been used for a few years. I removed the front panel and the battery is disconnected and internal fuse removed. i have absolutely no manuals nor any help from the previous owner who had always let out the property. But I see the key pad is a Menvier unit. I can’t see any branding inside the main box. i thought I should just replace the fuse and see if it works. But I have no idea what code I will need to punch in, to programme etc. Any clues? Will it need a code if it’s been completely disconnected for a few years? …

Which is now installed including Ethernet module and fully programed. with no major issues. looking for some help with SelfMon set up. You guys seem to be the most knowlegable. Hi, I have a wired alarm system based around an Avanti LC panel with a range of sensors and currently 2 keypads. I would like to add a third keypad so I can set the alarm from the garage door but I understand my system is now obsolete. Is there a suitable replacement for the MDT alarm keypad? or is it a case of replacing the panel and the keypads but retaining the sensors I have? Any help would be much appreciated James

I moved house earlier in the year and inherited a Eurosec CP8L, however no codes. I've downloaded the installation and user manuals and factory reset the unit so I can now get into the installer options. I've worked through all the options and set up the zones as I want them etc. and everything is working as I expect. Hello, I'm just wondering about the amount of hardware you can add to a GD-C048 with the available address line. The instructions say I can have 8 keypads (3 prox), 4 RIOs and 4 RF RIOs It seems you can add lots of stuff but much of it is limited by the rotary address switches and there appears to be some overlap. Is a keypad on address 2 the same as a RIO on address 2? Basically, I have 3 keypads, 0,1 and 2, along with 3 RIOs and 1 RF RIO which must take addresses 2-5 which means, if they work as the same address, then one must overlap with a keypad, also the RF RIO tried to take up 2 bunches of addresses and in fact keeps ap…

Hi, and thanks in advance for any help. I have a Floureon h.264, 8 channel CCTV system installed around the garden of my house which I installed myself. It has 8 cameras, also from Floureon (1000TVL IR cameras). It was running without issues for 2 years. Unfortunately a few weeks ago one of the cameras IR capabilities began to fail during nighttime, however the camera would work fine during the day. Due to this, I disconnected this camera and ran with 7 cameras and ordered a new camera. a few years back my brother installed a Risco lightsys system for me , it all worked fine no problems. He didn't have time to install the IP module so a while back I tried to install it but it wouldn't work (probably some setting or other) so i just removed it from the main board. I then did a factory reset from the panel (don't ask me why it seemed like a good idea at the time) ever since then I have had the same issue where I cannot get into the start menu to do anything with the panel (see images) all i see are stars.
