Hi, Its me again:-) Ive tried to add an extra keypad to my Flex 20. I have it at address 4, but looking at the system I have a keypad at 10, 50 and 19. The keypad at 19 is showing as 0% comms. If I remove keypad 0 and replace it with the suspect one with address set to 0 it works fine. Anybody get any ideas, I wonder if me plugging it in with different addresses has gone over the 4 keypad limit on the Flex 20?? Thanks, Ian.

Hi, Have a groups setup on some storage building and want the alarm to set its self if all zones are ok and no tiggers for 60 min say Staff on site keep forgetting to set the alarm) Is this possible?I cant seem to see any good descriptions of what the 100's of functions do on the Galaxy.

I don't have an internal sounder (I would need one for front and back of house). However I have two keypads. Can I get them to sound a tone/announce that an alarm has occurred?. They tell me about it when I unset the alarm, but don't show any info on the display and are silent when I open a zone.

Hi, I have a Galaxy Flex alarm installed in my house and I have added a RIO and second Key Pad to the system. Power off and on and the two new devices where discovered. Happy days! Unfortunately I don't know what the engineers code (but I have the managers code) it to set up the 3 sensors I have connected to the new RIO. If I open the PIR's I see tamper on 1021 as you would expect, but I cant walk test it and dont get an alarm triggered at the moment. Anybody know how to factory reset these panels. Cant see a batt or reset jumper on the board? The board is 2010 vintage with V3.1 code.

I've just installed a new HKC SW 10-70 panel. The keypad is giving a fault and alarm indication and beeping. I wired the power to my external bell the wrong way (printed wiring guide had + and - incorrectly reversed compared to actual PCB layout. Should have checked the connections I know, but I've only made this mistake a few times in a lifetime).Hopefully it hasn't fried the panel board/external bell. I've disconnected the bell and connected a 4k7 resistor between tamper return and SAAB hold. Anyway the panel won't accept the default engineer user code ###REMOVED### so that I can set it up/ see a log. It's giving me an "access denied". Any ideas, at least on …

What sound should I get on entering through the entry zone whilst on part set? I was expecting a beep but I get a different tone as if the key pad has gone in to alarm.

Hello. I have bought a new Honeywell ADE Gen4 alarm (Accenta/Optima) for my garage. I have installed and wired the alarm as per the instructions. ( I have the compact panel with built in keypad not the LCD remote version. I have only wired in 1 PIR into a 1 Zone. However, when set the alarm with the code all 8 Zone lights come on and it just beeps forever and never sets. I have done the alarm test and that passes. When I do the walk test the manual says. Enter Programing mode Press(0) Press (tick) Zones 1-8 are Off (but in my case all Zones LEDs are on not off). Zone 1 does stay off briefly until the PIR is triggered.…

Currently, have a CEF AP28 keypad/control panel. The front cover keeps on falling off. Am I able to replace the keypad with a new one or will I have to change the control panel as well?

Just replaced the battery but cannot reset the system. The display is flashing '6' and the Tamper LED is flashing. I cannot find this error condition in the manual and wonder if anyone can help? (Zone 6 is not used on this system and the ant-tamper terminals are bridged, so I don't think that's the problem)

Hi My daughter has just moved into a house that has a Accenta G3 alarm fitted. The previous owner left the code but she never said the alarm wasn't working. Pressing any of keys on the keypad has no effect and makes no sound, the alarm went off when I turned the house consumer unit off but putting in the code did stop the alarm so I guess the panel battery is also shot. There is a Day and power light lit on the keypad but also a tamper light lit as well. I removed 2 PIR's for the decorator and that had no effect. The engineer who installed and serviced my alarm tragically passed away suddenly. Unfortunately he never shared his installer code. The problem I have is that the alarm went off during a power outage on our street. In a panic I removed the cover to the box and now I can’t unset the tamper alarm. I’ve tried the usual default code and variations of it but nothing works. My issue is that if I factory reset the box I have no idea how to reprogram the zones. The user manual he left doesn’t cover the steps. I have a front door switch and 3 sensors. So was hoping it would not take too long. Any help would be much appreciated.

Im after some for the front. Do they beep externally or just internally? I had some voltek ones on an old house and I swear they beeped externally, handy to let people know they are being monitored. Also are the GJD wireless as good as the hardwired, is there a delay or are they pretty good.
