I have the job of taking over and serviceing an Aritech ATS 3000. I have printed out about 400 pages of manual but it still looks like the most complicated panel I have ever seen. It has both types of key pad and door access for 4 doors. I have the engineers code and the master user. Any one have a good advice. Thank you

Can someone please advise if its worth paying extra for a professional installation or shall i go down DIY route? any recommendations on make/model of the system? My budget is around £600. ours is a 3 bed semi detached house with no pets. I need 5/6 PIR sensors, 2 door contacts, 2 external sounders (1 dummy), preferabley one which can call me mobile no if something happens. i dont know a lot about the companies offering these alarms and have cotnacted few NSI approved installers in area. Afternoon Guys, Due an upgrade, presently got a BB 9800-Torch, pain though viewing PDF's, Excel doc's etc, scrolling around and the like!. Looking at a Nokia Lumia 820 possibly, any recommendations, decent screen size, touch, email, etc. Anyone know when any new BB's are due out?-10!, looked also at an Itoy, but don't like the way Apple have got you by the goolies!-Orange also won't give me the £5 monthly phone discount either with it (£5 discount because I have orange BB at home)-which again I'm not happy about. Not bothered about playing games, just viewing webbies such as TSI and the like, MIcro SD slot to boost storage would be good. Richard.

I came across a website 2 weeks ago, www.huddleboy.co.uk while looking for a franking machine They had a deal on there for £10.00 a month, Free delivery & £30 credit on it, So I ordered it. The machine came directly from Pitney Bowes, All works great, Anyway, The huddleboy website las loads of stuff and free offers for business. I received an email a week ago advertising a device called iZettle for iPhone Allows you to take credit, Debit card payments via your iPhone at no monthly charge The card reader plugs into your iPhone, and is an actual full card reader. The reader costs £20.00 to buy, But they give you a £20.00 voucher to redeem against the smal…

Hi, Recently moved house and want to get alarm installed asap. I have a texecom veritas excel control panel and would appreciate your advice on what to consider when choosing where to install it.... Can I take a fused spur off a lighting circuit and install the pcb in the loft? Is it better to spur off ring main? Would it get too hot in the loft during the summer? (Ignoring last summer's weather that is!) I have an airing cupboard so could install in there, but would that also be too warm? I would like to have a contact on the garage door but found I had a few false alarms using a surface mount door contact on my last house and ended up having the double knock feat…

Are any of you guys using Progeny ? Were taking over 22 sites with their kit installed within the nest 3 weeks. All of the installs are very basic, 300 'ish users within each of the databases Quite basic installations really, All sites have a single P3 unit with a single door & one reader. A few of the sites suffer heavily from mains spikes, which kills the system I have to power cycle the unit and go into the users list and refresh it to come back online. I contacted Progeny to ask a few questions about the database side, They were not that helpfull They refused to speak to me about anything technical unless calling the 0906 premium number Progeny can k…

Hi, Sorry for posting two questions in such a shirt space of time. Alarm, texecom veritas excel. Is it possible to install an additional remote keypad in the garage and have the garage door contact as an additional entry point? Ideally I would like to be able to open the garage door and turn the alarm off so i can put my bike away without having to go in the house first to turn the alarm off. Is it just a case of wiring the garage door contact into zone 1 along with the front door? I would still need the front door as the main entry/exit as I don't always go in the garage when leaving the house. Thanks James
