Does it do chip and pin or is it the same as cardholder not present?

I looked a while there a few out there which support readers, which all lool a touch Micheal mouse,

iphone though apple connector, androids though speaker jack,

verifone who make proper terminals make this

shown used on tablet, which I think in the eyes of the consumer looks correct.

 

also I reckon sooner or later some mong will drop your phone when doing the credit card transaction ?
