I have a glimpse of hope that rugged phones may last a little bit longer but i do have dillussions of faith in others. Ive had the same unit for years the shortest life was less than an hour where a unit ws dropped from a drivers pocket and under the wheel of a passing car. here is a small selection of the bits retained for repair and were not a big company. A question i dont realy want to think about as i would say a few weeks but knackered and not working are two different things. What you have to remember these are seldom used for voice and answering is one of the last things they think is important. Mainly used for documentation.
