Would anyone be interested in writing a Tutorial on Alarm Installation. Nothing too complex, just something to help out any DIY`ers. Just a Standard alarm System, with looped zones and tampers. And guidelines about running wires etc etc. If you feel up to it just let me know. in process of looking to install a one off radio system as customer very adamant on not seeing cables. have used menvier ts690r before but gave nothing but problems seeing that i didnt do my homework and invest in a signal strength meter. (so much for the lick it and stick it saying). viewing scantronic 9751 series panel i read that the rfx interface comes with a built on signal strength meter, so just wondering whether anyone has come across any problems when installing them or if theres any hidden gremlins that people have come across when using them.

Hi there, I'm looking for help on installing an Aritech AS522 bellbox kit with my existing CS350 control panel. Does anybody know where inputs 1,2,3,4,5,6 (AS522) should be going into the CS350 control panel. Any help would be appreciated. Brian

Good day to all, thought I would post this in the members area to kick off. I have been running my own security company for the last 6 months, mainly in alarm installation. Take up has been slow but steady, with word of mouth now starting to filter me in more jobs. My question is I am currently not an approved installer. Obviously I have looked into the issue, and the costs involved. I would appreciate some impartial advice from any members with regards to NACOSS/SSAIB. Such as which is the best to join and why?
