hi all. can you please tell me if these detectors are ment to work with a galaxy dimention rp portal? as i have 3 of these pir's and cant get them to work with the panel but can get other detectors to i.e door contacts and so on.

Last week I was called to a site which was having problems with false alarms. Approx 4 mins after the system was set it would activate. The fault events showed an activation from a wireless detector and from another wireless zone - a viper. This other zone displayed "ch0v" ? The wireless zones showed 10/00 in the zone readings and the rf portal showed 100% comms. Any ideas would be apreciated. Thanks.

Hi There, Can anyone explain AC Bleed to me? Is it something I need to test for in a maintenance and if so how? Also what parameters are acceptable and how do I ensure I am within these parameters Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Matt

We have all been up against the B&Q / Screwfix / Maplins tat that is about as much use a rave DJ in an old peoples home but the customer believes what we offer and what they can get in the maplin catalogue is the same and that we are just rip off merchents charging 3 times the price and pocketing the diffrence. There is no realisation that what we are selling probably costs us double what they buy and that is before we make a profite, install it, warranty it, pay our overheads etc. So here is the $64,000 question. How do we sell a market that as professionals we dearly would love to but the customer thinks we are pirates charging what we do as we refuse to use…

Afternoon All, Taken over a site with 3 AlienMax DVR's and have spoken to SystemQ who talked me through the ports and set this all up. They sent me to a webstie and have given me a serial key for a max of 5 users to register. Just at home testing it and doing a write up for the customers to install and use it but I have installed "CCTV WINDOW" and it comes up with a user login window with a drop down as admin for the user but I ain't got a clue what the password is tried common ones. Anyone know what this is?

Hello all, I have been looking through here at all the posts about a decent customer database. I need to get something that can keep all the details in one place and make it easier to see what services are due etc. any recommendations? Ideally I don't wanna spend fortunes either lol. I am thinking about trialling ServiceLife has anyone used this? guys

what do you guys make of these? So im on call today !!! as most of you probley understand its not the best thing to come around every other week !!! I get a call today off a g4s guard, saying there has been works in the building and power has came off, so as you expect " ac fail " !
