The newer cases have an extra backplate that must be fitted to engage the rear tamper. If that's open pressing the front switch will have no effect.

bugger!!!!! i put that 2 one side while i tryed to link them to the panel!!!!!!  :hmm:

Yeah, the switches are configured in series. Must be no room in the protocol for individual tamper signals.  This caught me out too. :(

Yay it worked!! turned them over and there is was the rear tamper. thanks guy you have been a big help as always.
