November 29, 201312 yr Author comment_356595 the pir's light up and do a warmup for 2 - 3 min then light only shows on motion. 1 of them at 1 point did link with the panel but when i went to view zone status it just showed that the zone was closed even with the pir picking up on motion and there was also no green or yellow activey lgihts showing on the portal to indercate the pir was talking the the panel. cant work this one out Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35725-honeywell-ir8m/page/2/#findComment-356595 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 November 29, 201312 yr comment_356601 Maybe a stupid comment but can the panel see the rf portal as a module on the 485 ? Fitted one to a g2/12 the other day and had no issues. November 29, 201312 yr Author comment_356609 hi Lwillis yes it can see the rf portal and the door contacts and shocks are all working fine. just cant get any of the 3 ir8m to link to the portal. was thinking of even rebooting the panel just to cover the chance of it being that. abit stuck with this one but its nice to know they should work and not a compatabilty issue?
