hi all. can you please tell me if these detectors are ment to work with a galaxy dimention rp portal?  as i have 3 of these pir's and cant get them to work with the panel but can get other detectors to i.e door contacts and so on.

its an rf portal on the rs485 line 1 and panel is V6.8. sorry if this is not what you mean.

Then there should be no issue. If you have the pirs in alpha mode the c072-2 had wider support than the older version and I remember various bits didn't work with it but if you have alpha detectors there should be no issue here. What steps are you taking to try and learn them?

going in to a spare rf zone and then going to serial and then pressing (star) where it when says force tamper. pressing the tamper in the pir but not getting any info on the panel side and its just timing out.  done door contacts and 2 shocks and all linked fine

So your familiar with the procedure. Any lights on the pir. The only things I can think of are either no power or incorrect protocol. You have the right gear and you going through the right steps.
