BRAMPTON, Ont. - If that deal on a Sony PlayStation looks too good to be true, police say it may be hot. Police in Peel Region, west of Toronto, say there's been a theft of about $1 million worth of Sony PlayStations and other gaming equipment from two transport trailers. A Peel police spokesman said Thursday that investigators are scouring all the usual places — online and off — where stolen electronics are sold. Anyone approached about a private sale of Sony products at a price that's "too good to be true" should give police a call, the spokesman said. Peel police are also reminding the public that it's a criminal offence to be found in possession of stolen property…

can anyone recommend a good passive/active balun that is good for 250-350 metres... ive tried system q passive ones and to say the least , the picture at the dvr end you definately know is a cat5 run and not coax- it seems with me on balun runs you always get that slightly washed out picture look ,,,with a bit of interefernce added . i like nvt baluns but there a bit pricey ,,, im after active baluns that amplifier , remove any interfernce and generally give a picture indinguishable from a coax run.. perhaps the interferenceim getting at the dvr end , is because the cams locally are being power by switched mode p/s and not standard linear boxed 12v ones... i dont know…

Lost the other half's keys yesterday. I'd gone down to the basement for a bit (no access through house, outside door with lock hence keys) came back up, mooched about a bit, time passed etc etc Later on tried to find the keys. Couldn't. Tore the house apart looking for them. Nothing. Then it was time to go out with some friends so had to let it go and used my keys. Horrible leaving not knowing where the others were. Came back still couln't find the damn things. Anyway... Had the bright idea this evening to check the CCTV. Watching myself going into the basement, then come out ten minutes later to get my phone, oh I'd forgotten about that. Watch myself go back …

All the companys I have worked for (with the expection of the two nationals) the owners have been Freemasons. Have the Masons taken over but more to the point how much of an influence have the Masons on the Alarm trade?. Can you run a successful alarm company without being a Freemason?

New Honeywell "Accenta" Alarm fitted & working fine. 6 Honeywell viper vibration sensors installed that require momentary disconect to re-arm them how do I connect to the board to achieve automatic re set when sensor has been activated. Manual says little on this only some ref. to the "SET" terminal which according to the spec says 0V in Day sinking 400mA (system not armed) and 12V in set (I presume armed)sourcing 10mA. The total load of all six Vibration sensors is about 50mA so according to the spec connecting to this terminal would overload the supply when arming. It seems strange that Honeywell do not make provision for their own sensors so its obviously me w…
