Just hopped downstairs to check the mail and a nice hand delivered envelope, addressed to downstairs. However it was not downstairs in this road, it was destined for across the road. On it was a nice little note saying BAILIFF, we are going to remove the vehicle in the drive at 18:00 unless you pay £595. Turns out its an unpaid parking ticket. Rang the nice gentleman on his mobile (the bailiff) and informed him of the fact that this is not the correct adddress. To give him his due he did appologise. Then suggested " Could you take it across the road for me" Thats when he got told to do something else with the letter.......................................

Hi, Can you help please? I have a CSC fitted house alarm. The system works fine however during really cold weather (typically zero/minus temperatues) the outside alarm box (sorry I do not know the technical term) beeps intermittently every 10 seconds or so. It will continue beeping until the temperature rises. In this current cold snap it is beeping every 10 seconds pretty much 24 hours a day. The panel battery was replaced 18 months ago and the alarm system works fine. What is causing this beeping noise in cold weather and how can I fix it so it stops!? All help much appreciated. Many thanks J

i remmember the last serious freeze in the 80's, aand covering call outs where people had gone away and turned off the heating, often themains and gas. this is not a clever move, the house gets cold and pipes more likely to freeze up, either they burst then or do so as they thaw out, so be warned leave heating on at least a low setting, i hope this serves as a warning, given the snow, i am at home, i've no need to risk the van or my life for work. so i'm doing the good neighbour checkup on several vulnerable neighbours yesterday, as i knowtheir relations can't get over to check, i'm making sure they have heat and adaquate food, just to entio we do have superb neighbours…

I am doing an install this week in a Snooker hall, bells only. The guy had a break in and they forced open the gaming machines and escaped with around £1200. He says he wants a master blaster installed inside the snooker hall. No problem, but how loud is this thing going to be inside. My guess is if he doesn't unset in time and it goes off, firstly he is going to s**t himself, and then he won't be able to remember his code to unset. Any of you guys had any experience of master blasters in enclosed areas ??
