I think I have just about had my fill of this dump of a country. They have also started in Birmingham, no surprise that was the second city to have problems. It is 100% a race issue. I know we had the student thing, but this is all about stealing whatever is not tied down! I have no idea why they are not using the Army with water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets as a minimum response.

Finally managed to get a spanky new laptop from the co, unfortunately RSS is not supported on Windows 7 but there are rumours that it works. Tried just about everything upto now, software runs ok but as soon as you upload a site it fails. I don't particularly want to downgrade for just one application as everything else I've found a workaround for. Anyone had any success on this yet?

Hello All, During my years as a qualified electrician I have installed a few basic systems, now its time to upgrade my own panel. I would like your esteemed opinions on the following. Here are my criteria/wish list.. 1. Must be hybrid, I already have good quality hard wired Dual-Tecs which are very reliable, I will be keeping these. 2. Must have GSM texting and voice comms presently non ARC- current panel has this (very crude) no phone line available. 3. A few problem areas require sensors and glass breaks, wiring not really gonna happen hence the wireless hybrid. 4. Currently armed/disarmed and panic by remote fob, works out well would like to keep- though proxies…

Roller Shutters and Security Grilles. Do I need planning permission? Unfortunately, there really is no simple answer to this question. Individual councils and local authorities will have individual policies relating to shop fronts, and place certain constraints upon the types of industrial doors, roller shutters or security grilles which may be installed and where. So, where do you start? The first thing to do is contact a reputable and experienced company who are experts in the design and installation of industrial doors, security grilles and roller shutters. The experienced team at HAG Shutters and Grilles will be more than happy to help and advise you in the first…
