Just a quick question about the two EOL zones on Guardall keypads... If an RX16i panel is expanded to 16 zones but all these zones are being used, can I still use the keypad zones to achieve a small expansion? Just need to squeeze another zone or two out of the already full system!!!

Do any of you guys use a Dymo label writter ? I've just had a brain wave of using word to batch print onto labels, anybody do this all ready & have any tips / hints to share?

hi people, just wondering if anyone has a take on SMS via landline? were currently using texecom premier panels and there comm 2400, for up/down load, we have a client that has sets and unsets via the same unit, pretty niftie ( when it works ) always suffering with failure of sending txts, texecom saying its ntwork issues, so its winding the client up. so does anyone one have any ideas ???? andy

Hello Guys, I have sent off a scanned copy of my liability insurance to the vetting email address over 2 weeks ago, Not received any acknowledgement or response at all. Does anyone know how long it takes on average to arrange this, There is only so much you can read in the general sections, without posting for the sake of it, which i wont. Just wondering if anyone could clarify something regarding Guardall remote keypads... On the Guardall website, the literature states that there are 3 types of keypad available - standard, prox and mini. The example diagram on there shows all panel type possibilities (PX/QX/RX), connected on a bus, with various keypads attached - which suggests to me, that all types of keypad are compatible with the RX16i control panel... Can anyone confirm this? I have a keypad - W76247 (standard keypad) - would this be compatible with the RX16i? Many thanks.

Does anyone know if there is a sim card that is not tied to any network but will utilise the strongest network coverage in the area it is located at the time? Needs to be data only though.

Hi folks, does anyone know of a remote microphone unit I can buy to attach to a Pyronix V2 autodialler? I'm aware that some may ask why I'd want such a thing when I'd not be able to hear anything due to the alarm siren...however, just sticking with the question above, does anyone have any suggestions? Have noticed that in the past year we have more enquiries regarding smartphone and home automation integration with alarm systems (from the younger generation, usually new builds), there seems to be an upward trend with less people wanting a monitored system and more wanting the above.
