Hello, We have recently installed CCTV for a domestic customer, the whole reason they have had the system installed is to catch unwanted visitors and potentionally to use footage in court. Do they have to display signs by law as if so the whole 'Discreet' cameras are kind of a waste? Any help would be great Thanks Jamie

Hello all. I know this is probally not possible but does anyone know a way of defaulting the master/engineer codes on Galaxy 60 or 3-48 or 3-144 panels. Is it just the grade 2 that can be defaulted or does anyone know a way round it. The company I work for is in the process of taking over nearly 80 sites. 99% of these sites have these panels but the previous alarm company knew they were losing the contract and on there last maintenance visit changed engineer code from their usual code to a code only they know. They wont play ball even to do call out to put code back to default. If anyone knew a way it would save me and another engineer having to crash each system. Most…

Just got a new PC running Windows 7 Pro. and I couldn't stand the Clear Type smoothed text shown on screens - IMHO Dire! If anybody is interested it can be switched off easily by... 1, enter "appearance" in the start menu search box 2, click "adjust the performance and appearance of windows" 3, select "adjust for best performance" and click OK 4, Voila - no more bloomin blurred texts and you can actually make use of the wider screens. I've also reduced the size of the taskbar icons by right-clicking the bar and changing the size in the properties... Just a tip.. use or not.

im due upgrade, im with o2, 600 mins will 35 quid, but no doubt they might go down if i say im off. Whats best to say to them, find another deal - say with vodaphone - then ask them to match. Any recommendation who's doing the best deal at the minute

Which bell has the brightest comfort LED's. Client wants brightest possible. I usually install Texecom Oddy series but comforts are not that bright on them.
