  1. A couple of times a week, my Risco Agility 3 will fail to arm fully. When I get home, hours later, the voice is still saying "Please exit now". This only happens when I set it from the front panel - it always works perfectly if I set from the smartphone app. I've tried changing the sensor batteries. Do do you know what might be causing this?

  2. Hi Guys, I have read quite a few posts but can't find the answer. I just purchased a Risco Agility 3 which came highly recommended. How do you reset tamper alarm on the main unit? It says it's "in alarm" and I have logged in with installer and master codes and tried to clear alarms/reset etc with out success. I've also have the iCloud login and can't seem to get rid of the error there when it's on the main unit. Any suggestions would be welcome as although I can take manual pictures, I can't arm the system. Please help!

  3. Does anyone have an idea of working distance between a single transmitter and the receiver? I have a customer with a seperate alarm system in a steel container that he wants to link to the Premier 48 in his house about 100m or so away I am thinking of using a Ricochet contact transmitter triggered from the container alarm panel and mounted externally in a weatherproof box with the receiver sited inside the house on the wall facing it. There is nothing much in between, but I don't seem to be able to get an answer on what the typical range is. There is also not really anywhere to mount an aditional unit to act as repeater if it doesn't reach. I have used the T…

  5. We got a Texecom Premier Elite system installed last year by private arrangement with the company. The installer left the job half-done and went AWOL on us. Since then we have had many issues including random errors and recently the alarm going off constantly when someone was house sitting for us. I am at the end of my tether and regret ever getting this! Can anyone help? We are looking for someone to complete the installation (only the bell box is missing), possibly move a couple of components and look into these ongoing issues. Thank you.

Hi I have a TS 700. The RKP is getting a bit temperamental. I notice it has 2 zones on the RKP itself. Is there a good replacement with zones on the RKP??

I hope someone can help me. I have bought a new house (I really have honest!) with an Ade Accenta G3 mini. The previous owner has given me the user code and the engineering code is luckily still the default. When I disconnect the power (it is currently on the upstairs lighting ring) the alarm enters an alarm state and the siren sounds. This makes sense but I need to disconnect the power to fit a fan isolator and an electrician is also fitting a new consumer unit. Given I have access to the engineering mode, is it possible to temporarily disable the alarm so disconnecting the power doesn't trigger the alarm? All I can think of is setting the alarm bell to…

Hi I need help with our system which was in the house when we bought it. Yesterday the upstairs ring main was switched off to change a plug socket, and since then the PIN pads (3) around the house don't work. The passives all bleep for a few seconds when activated by movement, and the PIN pad at the back door shows zone 1 activated and continually bleeps. The main alarm panel shows no activated zones. Has anyone got a clue of what the problem might be and how to put it right please?

Hello there, sorry, homeowner with very little experience of security systems here so please excuse my stupid question! I was wondering whether I could get an opinion on an Accenta G4 alarm and its probable state of activation. I moved into a flat fittend with an Accenta Mini GEN4 with LCD Keypad system with infrared sensors. The system was not used by the previous owners, so has been unused for at least six years now - I was never given any codes. In that time none of the batteries have been changed. The alarm has never gone off. None of the LCD on either the main panel or the remote keypad have ever been lit. At a recent power failure, there was no sound either of…
