My first phone was an eh237, cracking phone for the time.

Looks modern , mine was a Motorola brick with red LEDs for display , those you would memorise about 20mobile numbers that's about it

I don't think he used it once, incoming calls only and when we were at home the pager signal from the hospital was strong enough to still work!

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

 

I never had a mobile until c1992 iirc
