Can anyone identify the model number of this alarm system? It is a Bosch system. We have a moved into a new house and this system was already installed. No user manual. We have changed the front door and we cannot get the system to recognise the connectors and doesn’t seem to be detecting the sensors.

Hi, I have just rented a house that has an old alarm for which I cannot find the manual to reset the pincode. I am bit tecky and I think i can do it myself, it has a dip switches inside, but have no idea how to set the pincode. I cannot afford now to find a specialist to do this job. Thanks for any help given

My neighbour has an Accenta 8 mini and it occasionally trips the main power breaker. But it also doesn’t appear to be charging the internal battery. Another issue is that when it trips, the external sounder sounds like a bird ‘cheeping’ for a few minutes before the sounder kicks in properly. Any ideas because at 05:00 this morning I wasn’t in the mood to investigate too much! Thanks

I have the above alarm fitted by myself around 1993. Worked fine until other day when I switched power off to do a job. Alarm went off due to battery. Now has lost settings. Done a reset. User code reverted, engineer code will not work. Alarm seems to be permanent on, sensors triggering alarm when inset. When I put user code in to set tamperlight comes on. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can identify this alarm system please? The panel is showing "nd-NO PANEL DATA" and all three LEDs are illuminated. I know the battery is no good and needs changing. All fuses seem to be good (with a meter across them). The codes are unknown, so will need a factory reset I guess. Thanks all!

Hi all, I'm looking to have an alarm fitted in my 4 bed house and doing some research prior to getting some more quotes in. Smartphone connectivity with a good app/push notifications is high on my priority list. The first quotation I have is for a Pyronix - mix of hard wired and wireless detectors. I like the company but I don't like the aesthetics of the panel/keypad configuration offered. I do really like the look of the Galaxy with Mk 8 keypad, but I can't find any detailed reviews on google about the GX app. Also it looks like there are other third party apps for the Galaxy. Hello, first post! I've got a Securit 700L system with zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 used with PIRs. Zone 1 is by default Entry / Exit. I'd like to make Zone 3 the same, so I can enter/leave via a door in that zone also. I've got the manuals but cannot see a way of doing it... Any clues would be welcome!!!! Thanks.

So complete DIYER here needing some advice on a Veritas 8 system. Houshold alarm has two bell boxes one at front and one at rear of property. Wiring comes from panel in garage to bell box at the front and then goes from here through the loft to bell box at the rear. When alarm is set off front bell box does not alarm or strobe but bellbox at the rear does both. One thing to to note is only one green led is flashing in the box which I believe is a battery charging issue. anyone got any ideas with this initial information. checked all wiring connections in front box seem fine and must be as rear box is fine. Hi Guys, We have a 30 year old home with a detached garage. My home system is well maintained and not a problem, but I have never had the garage system serviced as it has always performed well, even though it is a key system wired to 3 doors and one window. Now that I am having the two u/o doors changed to electronic opening, the garage alarm will need some changes. I have just fitted a Galaxy Flex 50 in my house, and it seems to be up and running. I would be very grateful for some pointers to resolve a few minor snags. I have a radio fob. Is it capable of doing a Night Set? - Rather than the Part Set. (It will be convenient to use this indoors in the evening - Otherwise, I suppose, I can make the Part and Night identical.) I have put an internal siren/speaker by the front door, so I can hear the setting sounds as I leave the house. The keypad is deeper inside the house. A bit of a story, but trying to provide full background info. My Veritas 8 system has performed well since it was installed new about 5 years ago. It was then 'upset' by a power cut a few months ago. I replaced the main battery, and all seemed fine for a while until it was 'upset' again by another power cut. My attempts to reset it again left me with a flashing 'set' light but it functioned well in all other respects for a while until it started to chime every minute. This served to nag me into fitting a new sounder battery. However, the flashing/chiming symptoms remained. Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had any experience of taking over an existing ADT alarm system for a client? I have been approached by a prospective client who has an existing ADT install of over 10 years old. They have decided to cancel their ADT contract and have asked me to take a look. Am I right in thinking ADT install a different type of panel to most? I know installing a complete new system is the belt and braces answer but I didnt want to quote for this unless it really was necessary. Regards Alex

Can someone please tell me what company and model this alarm is? It’s beeping like an alarm clock every couple of minutes and does so even when the code is inputted. Unscrewed it thinking the batteries need changing however they are wrapped in green plastic branded GP NIMH Battery so didn’t want to touch them. Need to download the instructions. Thanks
