Hi all, Looking to upgrade my systems and in particular Point of Sale, I would like a App based program that would also work/link to office PC base, take signatures & preferably generate quotes from App . I currently use Sage L50 & Alarmaster but would be up for a change on both. Any suggestions for research would be much appreciated.

Concept 6 alarm, worked ok for a long time. Yesterday the house alarm sounded, it took the wife ages to get it to turn off. Now it won't reset, when I enter the 4 digit code, all zones (4) light up red making a continuous beep and the alarm won't set. I have to re-enter the code again to stop the beeping. New battery ordered because the old one is out of date. Not sure that's he problem. Anyone can help?

Hi, I've just installed a Honeywell Le Sucre system, 3 PIR's, 1 door contact and 3 shock sensors, all pretty smoothly. Only problem is the bell box model SEF8M won't register with the system. Followed the instructions to the letter and nothing picked up. Called the place where I bought the system from who called Honeywell. Came back to me and said I need to deinstall all the early sensors and register the bell box first. I did this but still no joy. Placed batteries in correct order, rear tamper pressed then pressed front tamper, released one but nothing. The bell box makes beeps at 1 sec intervals for a minute or so then stops, then starts again. My thou…

Hi I have a Honeywell Accent G4 panel fitted on my house. The system developed a fault while I was away, the sounder apparently made some sound, but not a full alarm, and the strobe has been flashing since. The key tones on the extension speaker also became very loud. I cannot cancel the strobe, apart from that the panel seems to be working. The only fault that I can find is that the 12 volt supplies are all delivering about 16 volts. Is this too high? could this explian the symptoms? Stuart

Hi everyone hope someone can help me out . We have very large pharapet gutters on the house here and suffer every winter with leaks as they block up and overflow the lead work . We have a house alarm fitted with numberous PIR sensors etc . My question is - would we be able to install a number of float switchs on the roof to trigger the main house alarm ? ? Hope this will make sense all help is very much appreciated kind regards W

Hi. Bought myself a texecom premier 48 system, wireless expander, etc, etc. Wired all up and everything seems to be working all fine and dandy. It might come over as super noob question but for the life of me I can't seem to find anything relating to the part guard delay time... Its set to 10 seconds which is all good for when I go to bed.. Not so much when I have to leave the house on part when my dogs are in the house. Can anyone throw an old dog a bone and give us a clue please? The full guard, etc all works fine. Oo.. Also bought a comwifi at the same time... I'm kind of guessing from reading around that is no good unless I'm having somebody monitor my alarm.. Is …

Hi all, I have a veritas excel system fitted to my house unfortunately I knocked the original veritas krp keypad off the wall big time so its no surprise it doesnt work now. I was offered a premier elite keypad by a friend but having read a few things online im unsure if it is compatible. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Hi , im new to this forum my names Steve by the way , this weekend i went away come back to the House open the door and there was no burglar alarm tone ... which i thought was strange , only to find out my electric had ran out ! my fault i know for not checking before i left, the problem i have now is that there are no lights on my key pad, when i press the keys the ligha light iup and make a tone noise, but thats it , i cant set the alarm like before i left the house, i cant see its the battery back up as its only happened because my electricity cut off whilst i was away for the weekend > any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance …

Hi Dave, My parents have a Modern Alarm 500 series, an electrician came the other day and replaced the house mains supply box and now the alarm started sounding inside the house and Tamper was displayed, any idea how I can troubleshoot fix. For now power+battery has been disconnected to stop the sounding. Thanks Chris

I would like some support please either to confirm it cant be done, or hopefully, how to do it. I have just installed a new "Mobile Call GSM Alarm system" by Profile and looking at the options some obvious ones are not options and some that are there are not ones I would use. I have accepted in programming the alarm using things like GAS where I would like GARAGE for example but there doesn't appear to be a way to amend them. Clearly as the options have been added at sometime there is a way but is it something I could do in hidden in the settings. A copy of the front of the user manual is attached for reference. Hi I need some advice please. Installed this wireless alarm but struggled to get the PIRs working. In the end I had to change the mode from auto to always awake to get them to work when the alarm was set. Worked fine for walk test. Have I missed something obvious??

I have installed an hkc 1070 and I have attached an rf pir and assigned it to point 51. I want to assign a delay to the pir similar to zone 1, which will allow me unset the alarm without setting it of. Dan.

hi I have an ADE optima compact alarm. My youngest son has done something with it and it now chimes when someone walks past a sensor. I don't have a manual. Can someone please help, its driving us all mad. Thanks
