When setting alarm and leaving the house the strobe and bell sound for about 6 seconds , I am told just the strobe should activate to confirm the alarm has been set, don't know why the bell sounds as well can anyone help as the manuals don't appear to cover this problem or setting, tia

The strobe output is possibly wired into the bell trigger in the bell.

Best call a pro in

Some Gardtecs had bell chirp as well as strobe as a feature, iirc.

But as above will almost certainly require professional attention.

What alarm do you have OP?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
