is it possible to default ENG code on G3 the same was as the older panels ? or do you have to crash the lot.

look at getting a hikvion dvr i have priced them up and this is the prices I have found hikvision DS-7216HWI-SH​ with 2tb will cost £324 hikvision DS-7216HVI-SV/A​ with 2tb cost £195 that is the older modal out of the two. has anyone used the hikvison dvr and witch one would you recommend using its only for a house CCTV

Hi has anyone tried the pyronix enforcer home control+ panel and the app that you can use with it. I had a look at the manual it say that wifi will be available soon on the panel does anyone know when this will be available also I cant seen to find the Lan card for it so you can use ip instead of sim can you get the LAn cards yet Does it push the alarm though to your mobile phone app or is the risco panel and app better. I also see Honeywell Galaxy have also got a app for setting and unsettling but I dont think it push alarms thought to your phone. hi new to this has you probably guessed today i tried to set my paragon plus alarm and although chime light is on and power light the digit led is not on either of my control panels so when i press digits to set i get the beep but thats it alarm will not set i have taken cover off main control panel and alarm goes off tested battery ok anybody have any ideas what could be wrong thanks in advance geoff

Hi, I have received two quotes for two different wireless alarm systems for my home: 1) Risco Agility 3 2) Scantronic ion-16 The Risco Agility 3 seemed to have additional options (Camera and App to alarm / disarm etc.). Including the camera and app option makes the Risco alarm system about £550 more expensive than the Scantronic. Given the two options, would you please advise which of the two alarm systems is better? Are they both reliable? Any recommendations or advise would be appreciated thanks. Is the additional camera / smartphone app option worth the additional cost. My concern is that would the additional technology mean more potential issues…

Hi everyone I have a bit of a problem and was wondering if someone could help. I had a friends dad to fit an alarm in my house and in my barn I have the gartec 600 series in the house with a wireless add on for other areas that he coukd not get cables to all is working perfectly and very happy with it he also fitted a 490x panel in the barn with gartec beams a roller shutter contact and a heavy duty door contact he had nearly finished that install and was taken seriously ill so I was wondering if someone could help me with the connection of the roller shutter and door contact both are in place jusg need connecting up I have run the mains cable from the mains box to a 3amp…

There's plenty of van topics here on the back half of vans but none covering the front half, and I spend more time in the front than the back. This is my Astra, its a few years old and still looking like new. On the plastics I use Autoglym interior shampoo, followed by a wipe over with vinyl and rubber care using a microfibre cloth. All courtesy of a Halfords gift voucher last christmas. Its buffed up nicely. Beat that Norman.
