Arm with code2. Exit via delay zone3. System arms4. Enter via delay zone5. System starts entry delay6. Enter user code - Alarm does not disarm7. Alarm sounds after delay ends8. 2. Hey all, just in the process of rejigging the alarm, and it's been a while since I've tinkered with the wired stuff... I want to switch a single PIR for a Shock on my G2-20... Forgetting the 'quality' of the wiring, how would this transplant over to the Viper? And resister location?? Thanks in advance!

As title any one got any good reviews on a good/basic cctv set up ? Max of two cameras only really need one though. Doesn't need to be wifi enabled, ideally just motion record function.

Hi, I'm having Issues with my Accenta G4 and all its doing is the RKP is just displaying Accent G4 RKP F131-01-111 I have 6 zones in use and all pirs are the Pyronix Equinox pirs and 1 of them is above the keypad in the corner of my hallway by the front door. would it be the PIR causing the fault?

  5. Started by Muttsnutts,

Need some help if anyone is in the know. Just in the progress of moving alarm pir sensor and when connected it's now setting the alarm off, tamper circuit is ok. When the sensor is disconnect the system is fine. Only have one pir on the system and one door connector. I'm not sure if to do with these "jumpers" in the pir sensor is causing the problem. Not sure what they do or how they were connected, one is labeled memory and the other p count. Can anyone shed light on what jumper goes where ? And if they cover two wires horizontally or vertically ? TIA.

  6. Hi everyone, I've searched and searched for some info and you are my last hope! I'm not an installer but was roped in to replacing an alarm system for a friend after he was burgled and it hadn't activated, no surprise once I started removing it but that's not why I'm asking for help. I have successfully wired several systems previously but strictly on a non commercial or professional basis. I have installed a Honeywell Accenta G4 8 way panel, LCD RKP, 7 Pyronix dual tech PIRs, 2 x Deltabell Plus sounders, internal sounder & GSm Dialer all hardwired and all performing perfectly. I now have to add 3 x wireless Pyronix PIRs via a Pyronix UR2-WE expa…

  8. Looking to update my old Abacus 6 which I installed myself some 20+ years ago to something more modern. Other than the odd PIR activation, over its lifetime has been trouble free. I have recently updated the bell box and the four PIR's to Pyronix KX15DT's so want to work with these and the existing wiring but will be replacing door contacts etc. Nothing fancy, just two entry/exit doors, kitchen PIR on final set, two panic's and more often than not part set, only two PIR's due to cats left in house. Want one remote keypad in the kitchen with the panel located in the loft as at present but might add a couple more PIR's. …

  9. Started by Griffmaster,

Can anyone suggest what is happening here please. I have an Abacus 6 installation which has recently started to give this problem. On leaving the house a couple of times this week and leaving through the final exit kitchen door into my garage, I get the usual good set beeps and the system has set. A couple of minutes while I have still been in the garage, the system has gone into alarm without warning. On checking the log the message shows CctA 2A ExFx KITCHEN and ALARM, TRBL. I am thinking maybe a faulty kitchen door contact but would have thought if contact has been unmade, I would have heard the entry warning …

  10. I have just moved into a house which has been fitted with an ADT alarm system. The panel is labelled as Ademco Microtech (Accord XPC, I think) and the system is simple just one contact (front door), three motion detectors, an internal sounder, an external sounder and a keypad (see photos). The system is wired to the house phone line - although I can readily disconnect it. Not wanting to pay ADT ~£30/month I have bought a Galaxy G2-12 to replace the Ademco panel, and I plan to run the Galaxy as an un-monitored bells-only alarm. The Ademco system has been left powered up and unset, but I haven't been left a user code for the system. I could ask ADT …

  11. Hi all, I hope you can help me, I have the above alarm system that I had to install a new bellbox on. When powering up the main unit it lost its settings, I have recovered the system using the factory default engineer code, however I now need to program the four preset arming options And I dont have a guide on how to do it, the manuals I have found online are all for older versions of the keypad. the keypad i have can be found here http://alarmwise.co.uk/special_offer_sterling10.html

  13. Hi, after a stressful weekend looking for the correct app for our CCTV system we have finally found the correct one. So over our wifi we have fantastic viewing but our problem starts when looking over 4g. Please can anyone advise if we have missed an important step in the setup? Thanks

  14. Hi, I wonder if someone can give me some advice. 2 days ago I started getting major issues with alarms and errors. Initially I kept getting an error something like R10 disconnected/lost/unset etc and gave me option to delete it, which I did twice which resolved the issue. After an hr later I got another error about +bat miss and same time my wife complaining about smoke coming out one of the door shock vibrations. It turns out my mum when cleaning the windows got water into those sensors. Anyways so the issue I have now, I replaced battery same issue, eventually replaced the battery fuse and all good now. I have also resolved the water ingress on 2 se…

  15. Started by Peter 23,

Five years ago I installed a Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen 4. It worked fine until a few days ago when I tried to do a walk test. It didn't get past the "Walk Test" line, and didn't respond to key presses. Did an engineer's reset, and on starting up again there was again no response to key presses, so was unable to enter the code. Did a partial reset (codes), and the same happened. Has the panel had it? Interestingly, it is in the loft void, which can get hot, and this was on one of the hottest days of the year.
