Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could help me, I have a Pyronix Enforcer V10, and I would like to connect TWO internal Pyronix Sounders to the system but I am unsure how to connect to the internal IO board, or if to connect any resistors? I do not currecly have any other item connected to the IO board. I've attached a couple of pictures of the twin alert connections aswell as the IO board in the Enforcer. Thanks for your help

Hi folks, My Powermax is showing "F-01 BATTERY LOW" - for some reason Powermax don't seem to include a list of codes so I'm not sure what F-01 refers to. Google hasn't really helped although I did see one suggestion that the "F" stands for "Fob." So is this telling me that my keyfob battery is low? Because I thought that was indicated by the light on the fob itself flashing (according to the documentation). Nowhere in the installation or user manual does it mention the panel itself displaying a message relating to Keyfob battery. Any advice? Thanks

Morning gents! Based on a lot of background reading I did on this forum, a Texecom Premier Elite was fitted about 6 months ago and a great alarm it is too! Problem I have now is that when cutting off some cornice at the top of the ceiling, we completely forgot that the telephone and alarm cable was run through there. As such, we cut through the damn thing. I'd like to patch this up as it leads to a key patio door sensor. The bigger issue is that the cable is crappy CCA (copper clad alu) as opposed to quality cable. Don't ask how or why that was used. So I guess question is how do I connect this crappy cable back up again? C…

Hi Sorry to bother you all but am in a bit of a mess. Long story short, but have a Texecom Premier Elite 24 that came with the house we brought a while back. The box was on V2.00 firmware and we only had codes to set the alarm due to the previous owner not passing info on as promised. We left it alone for a while but am building an extension at the side of the house and rather than extend all the cables that go to the alarm, it would have seemed to be easier to move the Alarm box itself. Fast forward to today. I removed the cables one by one, labelled and tagged them as to where they connected, moved the box, and connected them back up bar two cables…

Hi My Visonic powermax pro panel has just expired after years of service. I'm sure systems have improved over the years. I'm unsure if I should just replace the panel or replace the whole system? Requirements I'd like remote access either by an iPhone App or web browser. Wireless is OK but I live in a bungalow so can easily wire PIRs and Alarm box. 4 or 5 PIRs and two door contacts required, would also like smoke detection. Skill level, I'm OK at programming systems, trained as a fitter wireman so OK running cables etc, OK at working on routers to port forward and use DDNS. I fitted the Visonic witho…

Hi all, Need some help please. Me and friend just installed a Premier Elite 48 and placed a Premier Elite DT PIR Sensor in the garage. However, the Garage PIR is causing false alarms within minutes of arming the system. We have turned the Microwave sensitivity right down to minimum and changed the Pulse Count Jumper to '2' ...but it's still setting off the alarm. What's the first thing I can try please? Could it be cold air blowing through the garage door or vents? Thanks

Has anyone used the ERA invincible alarm? It looks quite good for the money - dual PSTN/GSM dialler, RFID arm/disarm, listen-in and smartphone app. The panel looks similar to the MiGuard G5 though, which seems to have a 2 second delay between a sensor tripping and the alarm being triggered - which seems to be enough time to disable the panel and/or sounder.

Hi. I need to remove the keypad for my Abacus 6 for decorating purposes. Have done it before in the past but can’t remember what I did before disconnecting the key pad wires so that it doesn’t go into alarm. Had the front off using engineers code and can see the wires going into the terminal block on the back. Thanks.

Hello. I have an outdoor light that doesn’t work, but does have a live cable to it through the wall. I’d like to replace it with an outdoor CCTV camera. I’ve seen some motion sensor cameras that save to sd card and allow you to view remotely via wifi which would be ideal. However if I understand correctly they look like they have their own power supply and adaptor you have to use, rather than being able to wire in an existing cable. This is one example https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073GSSGWB/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza Can anyone recommend a product that might do the trick? I already have a separate security light that works so only need the camera.…

Hi all, I have a Eurosec CPX system which I installed about 10 years ago. It has proved very reliable, and until recently, never given a false alarm. Because the property is in a remote location in a different country I have also fitted a gsm dialler so I get a text when it gets triggered. Over the last few months, the alarm has been triggered several times, and I think this may be related to local power cuts. When I last visited the property the RKP had 'watchdog reset' logged, and the date reverted back to Jan 1. I fitted a new battery less than a year ago, the largest I could squeeze into the panel. My question is, would/should a power failure and or discharged b…

Hi, I have 2 castle care tech 1600 alarms at my property. One is in the garage and we have never used it since moving in. We had a power cut recently and the garage alarm now has a fault condition. The remote keypad is alarming and is unresponsive. The keypad shows power but the display is blank and keypad does not appear to respond. I checked the battery, in the control box and it was showing 11V, battery connectors (with battery disconnected) show 13.5V. I have changed the battery and powered up but the fault condition remains. I read elsewhere that the sequence should be: mains then battery then cover which I have followed but no luck. I have checked wha…
