Hi guys, hopefully someone can help House has got a ADE panel, quite new (soon to be replaced with a scantronic panel) but just having a slight problem with the wiring for the 2 exterior bell boxes, as the house is in the country a monitor system isnt the most practical reason for response times so also got a SD1+ to go on at a later stage.. At the moment noise is what I am looking for , I know one box should be SAB, and the other SCB but had anyone found this greatly reduces the noise of the boxes? Should they be wired in parallel? (Problem being one box is Pyronix Belle, and the other is a texecom 2e) so this is the bit that kinda confuses me... Anyone got any knowle…

I have a cpx panel, one rakonet dualtec pir, two rakonet shock sensors, one reed contact. All are wired on seperate zones. Have used 6k8 and 4k7 resistors and selected eol in program options. When i try to set the alarm, i get 'tamper fault zone 9'.....anyone know what is causing this?

Hi all....i hope someone can help me with setting up this panel. I am setting it up on the bench but it will be going in my house in Bulgaria. The instructions are poor, especially for a novice like myself. With the cpx i have one Rakonet iwise DT AM on one zone, and one Rakonet shock detector on another. The instructions on these are equally unclear but i think i may have it right concerning resistors etc. When i power up the board the sounder sounds and doesn't stop. It's asking me if i want to use BS or EN2 settings. Whats the difference and what should i choose?

Hi, I'm in the process of fitting an alarm system in my sisters new house - still getting built. I was just wondering how many detectors I can run off the panel, there was an exsting panel in the house which I am using but have read a lot about power suppply units and not sure if I should be using one. The alarm is going to have one external sab, one internal sounder which also self activates, two keypads and eight PIR's - would you recomend an additional power supply unit? Regards Steve

Hi. I have a personally installed Galaxy 16 ex //.National Installer.// panel and want to ad a safe limpet to it. As far as I can tell, the limpet has no makers marks, only the numbers A5169 (24) and batch H97. I think it is a Tyco seismic detector. I have 9 terminals in the limpet. The 12v +&- and tamper are obvious. Please can someone tell me how to connect the rest... Reset +&- LED- Alarm ( 2 terminals. Thanks

hi guys, hoping for some furter help if possible, going to order my alarm kit on monday and wanted to check on which sensors to buy for windows ? they are pvc and i was considering texecom impaq plus vibration detectors ? are these suitable ? there have been some burglaries over here lately where the thieves have removed the entire glass pane from the double glazed units, would these do the trick or should i be looking at something else ? many thanks in advance guys

Need help on a ADMECO - ACCORD alarm I have installed in my house. I think this is the name because the picture on the pannel user manual I have retrieved from Honeywell site is similar. I have bought a new house that has the refereed alarm installed but the old owner does not have any manual. It also does not have any recall of the old passwords or from the master one. I was able to retrieve the user manual from your site so I think I know how to operate it once I have a way of enter new passwords. Can you help me ? A few questions though: Is the "CP8 COM" panel sold by RS exactly the same as the CPX, with the capabilty of both voice and digi communications? (I only want voice). Hi all, I seen many question about the C&K S700L panel, I have one too. I've just had to reset it after a failure, and now it's working again. I've been able to change to codes to none default ones, but it seams I need help to reprogram the Chime feature for the garage zone. I know this information is in the install manual, which is rightly not available to me. But if someone could get me the relevant passage for programming the chime featue I would be most greatful.
