What company do use guys use for your CCTV equipment? Who is the best and the cheapest to supply Hikvision and Dahua systems? Thanks in advance.

The RCD in our fuse box tripped, not due to the alarm, but switching off the alarm circuit in the process. When I sorted the RCD, the alarm box was beeping so in the end I just turned off the circuit and we went without an alarm for a while. I'm now getting around to sorting it. I've replaced the battery and it seems to work as expected when setting: enter code, press FULL, hear the usual beeps. But it doesn't stop beeping when I enter the code again. It only stops when I enter the engineer code, or when I press RESET. I've reached the end of my knowledge (not hard!) on this. Any ideas?

Hi, Looking for some advice regarding an SL dialler thats connected to our alarm system. Stopped resetting when switched mobile phones. Dialler reset perfectly fine before we switched from iPhones to android. The engineer has also tried to reset with landline but still no joy. Will only reset with iphone, not with a samsung phone, strange?? Any feedback/solution would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I would just like to ask your advice please on which might be the best alarm solution to go for. I'm currently renovating my 1 bed flat and want to install an alarm system with cctv (probably 2 external cameras), seeing as i have all the floor open and still yet to plaster the walls I'm thinking it might best to go for a wired system so it saves on batteries running out and I think would be just that slightly more reliable. Hi all, I am after a little bit of advice regarding my home alarm. I have a Honeywell ADE Gen4 alarm panel and Honeywell Viper Sensors on my windows. One fo the sensors took a bit of a whack during some house work and, as a result, the house alarm went off. I entered my code to silence but now both the Tamper and Day LEDs are lit and the keypad is unresponsive. I try to enter my code to reset the system but nothing happens. Has anyone any suggestions on how I can reset the alarm so I can set it again? Thanks Rob.

Hi We have an Eaton Ion-40H Alarm with Hybrid Setup (Wired sensors from old system plus mostly new scantronic wired ones) Since the install was completed several months ago when we leave the house around 10% of the time (although it has been more frequent recently) and set the alarm to full set from the keypad master panel activating the front door exit countdown we get a single beep and an error on the display 'Setting Faults Z000 A Font Door'. Hi all, apologies if this is security sensitive question but what is the absolute correct way of wiring two external sounders? The common method seems to be using the tamper return from the first unit and using that to supply the second unit, however on some posts this wiring method seems to have caused problems for some panels and Sounders, such as causing a bell tamper on a bell tests due voltage rising on the tamper return, is there any truth behind this? Has the above wiring method ever caused problems for anyone here for whatever panel and sounders you use? All, I’m having issues with same alarm - was painting outside of house and went to unscrew the alarm cover. Turned the screw once and alarm went off. Mrs turned it off from indoors and I am now getting the following error messages - 3 problems - omit zone Lid Tamper KO1 Tamper - alert err 4 08 all have Inactive under them. HELP! I have taken Lid off and disconnected the batt and put it back together and closed lid. No luck. Thank you Chris
