I have a new guy who will (if it goes as expected) be my sales director. I need to get him a car. He wants a volvo s or v60. Anyone have any thoughts on these. We will be buying it outright so it wont be leased etc. Also id never buy a brand new car so it will be an ex demo etc. Needs to be comfortable and these as a bonus seem cheaper than an audi or a merc. But ive never even driven a volvo before. I quite like the look of the DRIVe versions.

  7. Hi I have a accord xpc alarm in my house which isn't used at all. The other night I came home and the alarm inside was making a loud noise. I typed in my code and it stopped but the battery light is now on. As I don't use the alarm is this anything to worry about? I want to know if its going to go off over and over again or thats it now I've typed my code in. I will get someone in to replace it when I have some spare cash as the battery might leak I guess if I leave it forever? I have no service plan and the house insurance is for a house without an alarm so thats not an issue. Its just about the dam thing going off again when I'm out annoying the neighbours and an…

Hello peeps Just to let you know we had an issue the other day. RedCare/GSM system with Galaxy 2-44 (remote location domestic installation)been in for 3 years no problems. The other day we receive notification from our ARC that the site transmitted Fire, PA, Intruder and confirmed all within 3 seconds of each other. Dispatched an engineer immediately on arrival system fine no log entries customer informed first she knew about it was when Fire Brigade knocked on her door followed 45 mins later by the Police (she was not impressed with that). Contacted RedCare Tech Support who dialled in to unit verified that STU had indeed sent the transmissions but could'nt say why. Gues…

Id say quite to opposite. 16 channels in time will not be enough and the extra infomation that extended gives I find useful. I now only use pins on the panels that are not capable of extended. Most old stuff will do SIA 1 or contact ID anyway. All of our systems that are new are on extended format, and we are upgrading the old stuff that can do it also. Or is it just me?

LOL So turn up and found this beauty, Birds nest, Ok so where's the battery....? Follow the cable, s Thats right on the end of the cable wrapped up on the floor. Never seen such a state. ooooh it never goes off, no ****! 6 sensors dotted about, with power, but only the front door, and a sensor in the rear actually connected. Binned lol On a side note anyone got a manual on this type of optima with commoned zones? It like a G3/G4/ but not quite!

Hi I have an Accenta G4 panel connected up to the yellow ADT bellbox, system is about 9 months old and has works perfectly up to now. Now find that the bellbox does not sound or strobe even when testing through the alrm test feature on the panel. No wiring has been changed since first install. Any ideas what the problem could be??? Any expert advice would be very appreciated. Thankyou Steve

Wonder if anyone could clarify this? quote form here http://www.everest.co.uk/security/why-everest/ In my opinion "and are" implies that Everest holds the approval, however I have the funny feeling it may not be that easy ?

  14. Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me out with my alarm.... I've split this into a short story and a long story.... Short story... I need to remove all power from the remote LCD keypad (Menvier TSNET LCD) so I can perform a repair to the rubber keypad. Long story... The Remote LCD Keypad on the wall in our hall is not responding very well. When pressing the rubber buttons on the front, the press sometimes doesn't register, sometimes it does and sometimes a press registers twice! Anyway, this can be frustrating when trying to set the alarm and even more frustrating when trying to unset it. We went on holiday a month ago and set the alarm. We asked some friends to c…
