I have recently got myself some Galaxy RSS software and a USB lead for programming up Galaxy Panels.

Just struggling with what i need to change on the panel etc to get them to talk.

Usb? this one off ebay from galaxy guy?

I run my o.e galaxy lead through a usb to serial converter

did you get this working having the same issue i have a galaxy rs232 lead and am trying to connect to a galaxy dimension panel but wont connect?

Not all usb serial adapters are created equal. Also do you have the panel setup right

Go into 56 for comms then rs232 set things up in there .

In rss add new site and when connecting its direct connection .

We use it all the time but normally over pstn .
