Often the case if using a plug on - Question of polarity as I understand it.

Had it on Plug-ons and Stand alone, even unplugged a Plug-on and the fault has reoccured.

Even with ACT 230MSF, ACT 1166 and ACT 1313 fitted it has reoccured.

Go on whats the 3m rule??

normally on a insurance spec they used to give a min height of the bell of 3m

rather than security it was to deter Alterego from gobbing on your sounder :gimme:

Hello peeps

Just to let you know we had an issue the other day. RedCare/GSM system with Galaxy 2-44 (remote location domestic installation)been in for 3 years no problems. The other day we receive notification from our ARC that the site transmitted Fire, PA, Intruder and confirmed all within 3 seconds of each other. Dispatched an engineer immediately on arrival system fine no log entries customer informed first she knew about it was when Fire Brigade knocked on her door followed 45 mins later by the Police (she was not impressed with that). Contacted RedCare Tech Support who dialled in to unit verified that STU had indeed sent the transmissions but could'nt say why. Guessed that it must have been a "mains spike". Anyone had this before and any suggested solutions????

cheers

Brev

I've had it happen before. Was a hold off problem. Muppet that installed it hadn't tightened the terminal fully.
