Can anyone let me know if deltabell x module will fit under deltabell plus cover? Also any major differences between deltabell plus and deltabell x module?

Yes both modules fit same backplate and cover 

Delta x is for use with a light plate that plugs into PCB and sticks in the lid 

Delta plus has built in LED on module
