i have set a up my zones as zone one being entry/exit zone (area A) with a time of 50 seconds and zone two (area B) being set as guard access to let me access the keypad. but on entry i pass zone one which starts entry timer 1 and then i pass zone two to get to the keypad but when i pass zone two the alarm sounds as an inturder alarm and does not give me access to the keypad cab any omne help

I have a C&K Securit 800L+ alarm system that I installed about 4 years ago. I need to relocate a sensor, and so want to completely power down the system. I have entered engineer mode and have disconnected the mains power supply, however when I disconnect the battery it triggers the sounder. I have contacted the company I purchased the system from (Alert Electrical) but they don't know why this is happening so have given me the phone number for the manufacturers tech support. C&K have been taken over by Honeywell, and when I spoke to someone in their tech support department he hadn't heard of the 800L and couldn't find any details on their database. Can an…

Hi, The fuse on the Smart PSU (I believe it is labelled as F1 supplying 12V2) had blown and so I replaced it. However on powering up the panel the fuse blew again. I would be very grateful if someone could assist on this one - faulty module or PSU? Is this a known problem? Kind Regards Craig

I have fitted about 5 or 6 alarms in my life time and have never really had any problems, well that was until the last couple of days. I have a premier 24 panel with GSM module, 6 reed switchs 2 PIRs texecom bell box and LCD control panel. The mains is wired in correctly from a fused spur but someting doesnt seem right. The large green LED lights up a constant green regardless of if either just the battery or just the mains is connected, even though it says in the manual it should flash when running from the battery, and constsnt when running from the mains, although they may have updated the programming since they made the manual. Does any one have any experiance of it…

i have just moved house and have a veritas system that was fitted in 2002 on moving in i set the alarm with the code given and now i cant turn it off

Hi all currently fitting a Texecom veritas R8 unit to my new house and will be using ex //.National Installer.// bell boxes - i have 2 of them how do i cnnect them, do both go direct to the panel or are there wired in series? i know the tamper should be in series but the bell boxes have only one Tamper connection. does the panel produce enough power for both boxes or do i have to add relays? any help appreciated Thanks

how do i enable part arm for a premier 48 panel

I have recently moved into a house that has a Scantronic 9448 alarm. The alarm seems to work fine apart from the fact that two of the PIR sensors to do not light up nor sense movement when the alarn is fully set. I am not sure whether this is an electric problem or whether I should just replace the faulty PIRs. If it is a PIR problem then does anyone know if I can just buy standard PIR's and fit them?

i set up a premier 48 panel with 10 zones and 2 infra red baems, i have an audio outputer with speakers. the beams are the only two entry ponts and both are set as entry/exits zones with a time of 45 seconds can i set the audio ouput to sound if only when the entry time runs out before the user code is input i have set the output on my panel as entry/exit but the speakers go off when we leave the area i have tried to set the output as entry only but speakers go off before we can get to panel. can you help please its driving me mad?? wayne

can any one help me i have setup some relays to switch on some lights, i have wired them up to the outputs of texecom 8xp expander and have set the outputs as follows (activate on >Area (areas > 00 - Alarm > and set pulse 3 output attributes on the outputs, and in timer setup, configured Pulse 3 timer to 3 minutes. all looked fine but the relays do not switch does any one have any ideas?? have been told that my relays mite be to big for the panel to switch as the panel one gives out 100ma is the a way around this ?? have taken the relays out of a old alarm system also i have connected a battery and the work ok? wayne

Hi, I'm just working out my best option for installing the bellboxes, 1 front and 1 rear to my property. Is there anyine in Stavely, Chesterfield, who would do this as I don't own any laders long enough and I'm not the best person at a height? How much for installing the 2 bellboxes? The wiring and panel will be in place, including wires into the loft ready to be drilled thro for the boxes? They just need mounting and connecting to the ends of the feed wires.

Hi all, I have just installed an Aritech CS235 wired system to my house with an SABB External Sounder. When I try to arm the system I keep getting an external tamper error on the keypad display and the strobe on the sounder flashes constantly. I have wired the box as per the instructions that came with it and wired it back to the control panel as follows Tamper to Tamper (through 47k resistor in box) Int Bell + to Strobe + Int Bell - to Strobe - Ext Bell + to Ext Bell + Ext Bell - to Ext Bell - Bell Hold Off to Hold Off As far as I can see I have wired it correctly. I have run a diagnostics on the panel and it doesnt show any faults and have reset all logs etc as …

Can anyone tell me why the kit comes with 3 sets of resistors? They appear to be 4k7, 2k2 and 3k2. I'm using eol wiring but I'm not sure why the 3k2 are included?
