  1. OK but most bells are neg , so what does that mean when you say you removed plus from strobe You could just connect it to the bell output temporarily so strobe flashes on alarm
  2. Just tell landlord , power cut and this happened so Upto him if he wants it sorted , but it may give you trouble one night, so he should fix as said above , or decommission, latter probably cost just as much though sometimes
  3. Either way not much stopping you from installing and then they can move it to what ever posistion they want , they normally do anyway

  7. Fob hanging off is customer issue so would have nothing to do with it, unless your suggesting the installer fits it there for the customer, what customer does isn't controllable always

  9. If you buy the x you have to get the lamp (light) aswell , plus looks faulty as others have mentioned before

  11. Is it the LCD version keypads ? I beleieve the LCD will work on some of those panels but display info and have certain funstions only and if you have a panel that needs the led keypad you must have one of those to see what your doing , at least it's what I saw on one system
  12. Newer risco lightsys is apparently the experts choice , if you plan to stick with risco Not my choice but seems if your doing it yourself stick similar model I am sure experts will turn up soon, they work a bit more than me hence maybe why no reply yet lol

  14. As a house basher , just wondered if you worked for 5yrs, does it take that long to complete an apprenticeship? How will you do this part time? Will you tell bigger customers evenings and weekends only? Is your current employer got you on a tracker so will you sneak off to do quotes etc? Big question , do you use the company photocopier without permission for personal use?   23. They would be able to give you a one off price for battery change, and perhaps service , no need to sign into a contract
