  3. No doubt it's serious But nothing is being proven that it will fall over or could be compromised except on particular units I'd say they staying quiet while they perform there own tests and find a way to patch it if it's at all true But nothing will be fool proof , all software and ip connections will have weaknesses Come on back to pstn ? 6. That probably goes for many manufacturers, they can't really prove failures when "hacked" if that's the right word to use Historical is relevant in the sense of see what has occurred and was not reported , Although it seems programming can cause those issues by the house basher , and then you don't get the correct alarms sent through anyway!
  7. When you insert battery I think it lights up, if it's right one I am talking about you hold the opp two buttons as put in battery So disarm/part arm for one protocol And Full-total arm / disarm for other protocol One of them should make it work Its in instructions
  8. But surely there would be a record of failures where perhaps a bulgary or fire took place and perhaps no signalling was sent ,regardless of csl it would show up with the Maintainer no?
  9. But how many failures are known?
  10. Lol of course I should have mentioned that first , house bashing ain't easy I tell ya
  11. Portal version perhaps? Did you try changing the protocol on the remote?

  13. What you mean one core? You mean one cable daisy chained? data Pirs seem the future really , brought up here before , data bus instead of having to use so many cores or have so many cables, keypads already doing it, makes sense for detectors to

  21. Can't you loop the device somehow and prove it can be defeated , or are they fixed to point to a certain ip, why can't you mimic the ip and then try and defeat it, or you need the device to complete its data connection Matrix stuff eh
