  2. Alarm men start taking readings like sparkies just make them up
  3. Dahua bells even for DIY are better than most, have the SD card on monitor side option
  4. JW said open the wiring on the PCB first to see if you get same warning
  5. I think the delays are rare tho mostly find they all open , I don't do much access , but go through plenty , ususally where the customer doesn't want to spend much is where maybe this problem will occur amongst other issues
  6. They would also need to setup your account However you would need to find someone willing to do it without a contract After all if they update your software, the 4g module you might find hard to get as no stolen ones in eBay yet lol Then you have the monthly cost of the app Will someone do it for a day rate , probably not , but maybe.....
  7. Ok cool it will do a job for you then to an extent
  8. By the way when you set your alarm , and trigger it as intruder , does it let you turn off the alarm straight away , or does it wait , set off the siren and then let you unset ?
  9. Not really , the alarm wasn't really designed for a DIY user and ususally installed by alarm companies and installers Eg your software version is proper old , adding new devices will be troublesome , so you will probably only be able to use version 2 and below to make things work I don't think you can get the app system either without an installer or something one with access
  10. It's waiting for you to open and close the door , because system is set to final set on the door
  11. Lol I meant gov home office @sixwheeledbeast However yes, agreed, I have seen this a few frames dropped just when you need it on some setups
  12. What setup will any of this matter? Many systems are just not that critical, even some sites which require feeds for the home office are using the existing networks they don't care that much either as long as there's a constanish feed 😂
  13. Seperate physical network, occasionally vlan it Or think of how they do it in hull and get it to work any old how lol
  14. Any switch that works, dlink , hik , anything within a budget , never really had issue except some of the managed switches cause some headaches
  15. Round these parts seems they using it for coms, it a cheaper way to give clients coms , I don't really know much about fire and coms but seems it's about it being cheap
  16. Fire alarm guys love it too lol I think it works better than orisec apparently
  17. I see people use it, I suppose it's better than having things like ring but it is primarily wireless only , made Ukraine , seems to be expanding Not sure if this version will clean cookers yet tho I am surprised some installers stick by it as its options are limited when facing hybrid situations, but then I assume they install something else when they get stuck
  18. You sure the orisec isn't better? Lol
  19. Enforcer is the new prime, both junk
  20. He must have crashed in a skip hopefully by now almost year later
