  1. Like Honeywell does the system not at fail set time you can increase or is this a different issue?
  2. If you have no training or experience , unskilled jp will easily get confused , and so would the alarm installer if never gets trained on it either However, if you had some basic quals (basic experience for some , where is he?) Then you would probably work it out easier , although we need a lazy section in this forum where we get all the answers and the work done for us!
  3. I was always found texecom menus weird lol although if you have little experience then it can be done As above quicker to get it programmed and perhaps save the profile somewhere and have another play with it yourself
  4. Adi waiting for a non duck comment! On non existent wireless battery reporting on some panels
  5. You know what I mean lol, but thanks for correction , "ignore" wrong word
  6. Pirs on exit route should be exit zones not sure what Texe label that type of zone as though , then they should ignore you on arming until set , or something like that
  7. On timed set it won't terminate via the pir, as I thought final exit only terminates if no time set
  8. It should work fine, pir problem might occur if it's something like active 8
  9. Basically the old frequencies are more subsebtle to types of interference, hence why better to update , not just alarms mind you , when they shifted the frequencies for what they are used for quite a few things were updated by manufacturers and it just depends on how much of a priority it became for an individual or organisation to follow suit and update
  10. 8core for everything , except where you need more then a "bigger" one ie more cores
  11. When you say picks up the fob , how do you know it's picked up?
  12. You must be old man, I got rid my stuff a a couple of years ago, was all good stuff though
  13. Out of curiosity, did your alarm used to chime? As above its an old panel and its totally incorrect to say that not much will go wrong This is a good time to update it , May work out cheaper as you have cables in place and May work out Give your front door sensors a slap while your at it...... I learnt that from someone here, or get a hole cutter and I explain what to with that later
  14. You said you have small cable access, run two if you can , or a "bigger cable" ideally an 8core for the bell and "bigger cable" for the sensors upstairs , try and buy cable made by cqr , probably other manufacturers to, I think that is what you should start with, if the cables don't get in then you can opt for buying different equipment
  15. Skoda back in the day, sold lots in Russia and Cuba , did you get to travel?
  16. Come on.... Means the word should be sensored. Ok in the small space you have, you could run two 8cores up to serve the sensors and bellbox upstairs And wireless elsewhere , or depending on how close panel is to front door sometimes you can get an 8core to the front door , especially if it's in the understair cupboard
