  1. Why did they cancel request? Because system was opened ? Did they switch it off or your saying ripping off wall did that I would have thought if panel has been dead since, power up and retrieve log simple , any company possibly

Find another installer or company that your comfortable with and ask them to make it stand alone system, as you need an installer for the app side of things Or buy a Yale and do it yourself simple, odd you keep using the word total stranger , after all you were happy to trust him on what security you need

It doesn't quite work like that, once you change your user codes and ask him to give you the option to add users Then the app should report if the engineer is on-site and the engineer normally cannot disarm or make system changes without you know it I think the adding of users will be striahht forward and you don't need to worry about engineer access Administration and engineer functions are two different things so no big issue
  4. So they knew where the panel was and time it takes to send a confirmed signal and cause confusion? Mr Alarm monkies how's that work then? Panel ripped off wall before confirmed signal goes through, would it still become confirmed with loss of site or something else ?

Being a house basher only, op is blagging in my view Op took NVR done place over or inside job, insurance company has taken panel already and now op or someone is wondering if the log can be checked because they didn't think of it before I watch to many movies maybe..... Or hanging around you monkeys and baboons is driving me more crazy

  10. Yes that's correct on dimension, I meant it couldn't come up with just fault as you mentioned, Perhaps changing it to 24hr? Custom Sia etc might solve the issue or customer zone and make links where appropriate or something to stop the message display James or nova or galaxy guy know better......they sleeping tho
  11. Thought that was normal , does it say on keypad system reset required once triggered ? I doubt it comes up with fault but then I just a house basher

  14. But isn't that usual they drop existing maintainer because of charges , realise after this not a Yale panel , and better call someone who knows Mind you the Yale is probably harder to fix lol because they so problematic lol

Normally the external bell will not sound when you take a cover off, internal bells probably will Also if the panel has a lock feature then doing this won't work, all you will do is reboot system and be possibly stuck with a tamper reset required by engineer and won't be able to arm the system , the lock feature protects the engineer code I assume you don't want to pay "the" engineer , or a new engineer to do this for you ......

If your willing to try and change batteries then you could disconnect the horn and cover the keypad to stop the tone It will go into tamper and then you will have to wait for engineer anyway or default it and reprogram Being a 264 I assume has plenty detectors / circuits being used , or you have no idea on that either? Call another engineer ? Either way so done has to pay Sounds like usual they don't want to pay lol
