Hi guys, I’ve just purchased the ricochet 64w with wireless keypad and can’t get it to register on the system. I have followed the instructions and repeated it several times but still no joy. I’m wondering if I have a faulty panel. I install the keypad batteries and quickly replace the back cover and plug in the cable before pressing yes to install the keypad. Yes I have the cable plugged into the engineers port, first thing I checked.It does a search but returns “No Ricochet Network Found“. Hi all, I've just joined the forum, in the hope I can get some help with our alarm control panel. I'm installing some one automation in our house, and trying to use our hardwired pirs as sensors for triggering events. I've installed 2 fibaro universal sensors in our alarm control panel. I installed the first unit which appears to have been OK, and working as expected. When I installed the second, we developed the strange issue. Hi all,, Slight issue, I Installed a Honeywell Accenta G4 back in 2013 with a Honeywell AG8 sounder. Alarm has been working fine with numerous tests over the years including the occasional accidental setting off. This week daughter forgot to disarm when walking downstairs. She entered code and alarm stopped on internal sounder, but external sounder would not disarm. IT Continued to ring for at least 5 mins then stopped on its own. Not too bothered as alarm works as desired , but would be nice to see whats changed. Thoughts Please !! Cheers JB

XB-E, smartcom I have installed a premier elite 24 in place of a accenta I originally fitted 10 years ago, and used wintex to name zones and change some simple attributes. It has undesirably left me with no part arm, only an option that says 'stay arm'. I cannot for the life of me remember changing any parameters regarding this, but had to deal with a 'com1' error (which was a glitch - now sorted by power cycling the panel). Hi, I am attempting to install a Honeywell Galaxy G2-20 System. Having a background in electronic engineering (a degree many years ago), I thought that I may be able to install the system myself. I have used the G2-20 with the RF Portal and several wireless detectors (3 x PIR's, 4 x door contacts), controlled through a Mk7 Keypad. I have powered the main panel, the RF Portal and mounted all the detectors. I have then assigned all the wireless detectors and they all have a unique address. I have replaced a damaged Veritas 8 compact panel with a R8 with RKP build revision 3. When part setting the system the factory setting for zone 1 is "guard" instead of "entry/exit" for full setting. I wanted to change the part setting to "entry/exit" to suit my set up. However when I attempted to enter the programming function and selected option 21 I received a single fault tone. I then tried to select other programming modes and received the single fault tone, with the exception of the walk test and date/time options. Does anyone have the user manual for the concept 4 zone alarm system. I know a fair bit about alarms and have installed a couple for relitaves previously. I need to reset the alarm to the factory defaults and the details shown in the concept 6 manual are not working. All zones and tampers in the panel are closed but it just does the setting tone when I power it up again! Any help would be appreciated!

We have just purchased a property that has been empty for 5 years and the batteries were all dead after the electricity was disconnected from the Cooper Security 9853. The main 9853 box has a 17ah battery and this has been changed and the separate power supply has also had its battery changed. I haven't changed or looked at either of the 2 external alarm boxes yet. Good afternoon. My trusty Yale HSA2500 alarm failed this week, or at least the bell box did. I have purchased a replacement Honeywell Reson8 (8EP420) bell box, which says it "can be connected to any intruder control panel". I’m sure it can, but the connector designations are different and I don’t want to short anything. so may I intrude on your good selves to assist me with the connections? I have a Honeywell Accenta G4 and HW Informa Speech Dialler which I installed about a year and half ago. Installed without a hitch. However, when I accidentally tripped the alarm last night I discovered that the Informer Speech Dialler did not ring my phone or any of the other phones nominated. Not only did it not dial, it simply did not activate. Up until last night, whenever it has been required to work or tested, it has worked perfectly. Nothing has been touched to cause this. What's an ATS Path Fault on a Texecom Premier, can't seem to clear it at all!! Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello, My first time posting so hi to everyone. I have just finished installing an Optima gen 4 alarm system. Everything went well and the system works well. The only problem is that there are no warning tones from the panel speaker on exit/entry even though the timers are working and the alarm sets correctly. In alarm test mode, pressing 3 should sound the panel speaker but while the LED lights up, there is no sound. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Any idea what these mean on barrel shaped shock sensors? Possibly ITEC designed.
