Hi All, I have been contacted by a local firm who have asked me to takeover their alarm. Its a Euro Pyronix 280 that has been installed by Secom. Does anyone have any experience of taking these panels over, im guessing Secom have their own software build they install on these but it must be the same as the original? Or am i going to have to advise th eclient a new panel and setup will be required. Thanks in advance for any help Alex

Afternoon, I've been to look at a Texecom 12W this morning that is displaying mains fault I verified that mains was present by removing the back up battery & testing the voltage on the plug on pcb connector from the PSU Thought about doing a full reset but didn't want to have to reprogram all the devices if there was a quick / simple fix... Has anyone had this or a similar issue or any tips how to resolve? I do recall texecom had some faulty PSU's a while ago... Could this be a PSU issue?

Having not installed an alarm for over a year I’m a little rusty.. Installed a 64-W for the first time today and took me half an hour to work out how to connect the wireless keypad! Confirm devices shows the system can see expander 1 so I assume this is a virtual expander ? Problem is system sees it in tamper - any ideas?

Fully understand this is a broad question! If we were looking at a Castle ID system around 12/13 years old (or what I suspect is an ID system) and wanted to change for Texe will it swap over somehow, someway? IE, if we chuck enough money at it then it’s definitely possible?

Did a rmv on a Scantronic 9752 with gsm redcare connected using the plug outputs. Normally I would use option 92 to toggle the outputs but this version panel did not allow the option. Only option available was test op2 or 3. Anyone know how to toggle the outputs on what I presume is the older 9752?

Does anyone have the non 0845 tech support for Texecom. Used to have it on my old phone before it died. Issue is 084 numbers are blocked on all phones including the office ones and I don't see why I should use my personal mobile.

Are/have you used an external reader to unset to 6.4.5? I read it as ok but i'm sure you lot will come along with why you dont. Specing job and the door they use to enter property is one that is in the roller shutter so no wires.

Hi, Does anyone have a complete programming/installation manual for Honeywell Domonial? I am taking over a system for a new customer, who doesn't really want to change the systems. The system is installed and I have access to the engineer code but I want to add a new external sounder and two additional PIR's and also program our ARC details into the system. Any help would be grateful.

Hi All, Currently I am using Eaton Scantronic Ion panels for all of my wireless installations but they have had issues with their keypads. I was wondering which panels some of you use for wireless installations in residential situations? Regards Alex
