Trade Control Panels

I know it's due an upgrade, but does anyone recognise it? Seems a bit Scanny to me.

Does any one have a full copy of the installer or engineer manual please, as a friend has just moved into a house that has an old Paragon Plus panel but the seller never gave her a code and I can only find the short manual in my box of old manuals, but it doesn't tell me how to default codes only (or if i have to crash the whole thing) or what the factory codes should be

Can anyone tell me if the 9853 will directly replace a faulty 9851 please? Original panel is dated 2009 - I'm guessing all the keypads and expanders will still work?

Got a job house and detached garage 50m away need to link the to and have a sounder ie bell on garage what are my options Only the enforcer bell looked like it could do the job, can you have more than one bell wirless and have it set to its own area ? Or something else? My English is mashed lol I meant I need to link the two buildings together , I always press post then read after phone do t help either, hope this makes sense

Been to look at an upgrade today, its got a Valliant 16 zone panel fitted, does anyone know if they use standard wiring ? Got to quote to replace everything but detectors all seem to be in the right place so would prefer to re-use the cable

got this issue on two of our sites now so thinking it is something we have wrong as not been fitting menvier for long. sounder outputs remain on until you reset the system. do not silence when system first disarmed. any ideas?

Anyone got an up to date G2 manual that they could upload?

Installed an enforcer to a ground floor office, needed metal bell really so installed an ody 3 metal. When system goes into alarm, it causes bell tamper ?? Book says use crappy delta and wire through 2 tamper terminals on the bell, but ive just connected the tamper return on the oddy to a zone input progged as tamper.

I am looking for a wireless pendant style panic button system that displays on the keypad which button is pressed without the need to input the code On another separate project I am looking for replacement buttons for poolveiw, good product but they cant be arsed to give any service at all. If anyone knows a good life guard alarm system I would be grateful

Just turned my head to hear a beep and see 'ACCESS DENIED' on my bench test Siemens SPC. Assumed net hacker (its a demo system so on the net via an obscure port) and checked the log... The only entry since my last was me logging in. I know that web fails are shown as I can see a few (all me) from last month... Ghost

I posted a month or so a go with regards to a site FAing possibly due to spiders. System was FA free from new for 2 months then FAs started. Masked PIRs, FAs stopped, swapped MEQ blues for for K9-85's (pulse count 1 factory default) All ok for a few weeks, lounge FAd last friday, so set all PIRs to PC2, max pulse count setting. THere does not appear to be any spiders about and although a spider isnt a pet, thought the 36kg pet tollerance would help. Now they are PC2, they might be fine but then again.... Going to survey a vacant bank tomorrow which needs the alarm up and running again. System is not installed very long and is a Pacom system installed by Stanley. Anyone know much about these systems? or what resistor values they use

Got an outbuilding with an old scanny thing which has failed - need replacement option but everything scanny seems to be 2 or 4 channel blah blah.. Anyone recommend a single channel tx/rx combo - 12v powered at each end?
