  1. Started by Paul. Giles,

Just looked at the pricing of these two!. The Dimension is over twice the price of the Castle. Apparently the Castle has forced set (Menu 62 for Galaxy) so should i change panels?

  2. Started by Adi,

Fitted an enforcer pet immune system last friday, what a sack of ****. 16 stone jumping around like zebadee wouldnt trip the fookers. The last one i fitted wasnt like this, they now have some kind plastic lens blocker, i set the sensitivity jumper to high with a marginal increase in pick up. Not happy, only one poxy cat to ignore, could stick a lion in there with no risk of picking it up. Had a moan to enterprise earlier, just happens rep was in there, he said detector needs time to be left in the enviroment to learn it, cant help thinking it corporate BS. Anyone else had a mare with these?

We have a tender in to extend an existing 3rd party system along with other stuff. Its monitored, fairly big system, looks like a PX80i? We fit Gals, Cooper and Texe mainly, so dont know much about the Guardall range Can these panels be NVM locked? Just need to factor this in if need be!

  4. Started by Lwillis,

Was called to an ATS the other week system showing low battery. Tested panel battery -1.5ah on a 7ah Checked charge voltage 13.86 Replaced and reset system. All okay or so I thought . Was clear for 3 days and has come up with the same fault again. Going back tomorrow . IIRC the battery testing is turned off. Any ideas? Surely it can't be a faulty ats

  6. Started by Alarm Protection,

I do this all the time, missing meals, get togethers and shows that my kids are in. I have just come back from the hospital after sitting with my uncle for 29hrs watching him slide away with cancer. At the start he was speaking and he regrets not spending enough time with his family and told me that I have to do it as I will regret it myself. It really hit home after thinking about this as just last week my daughter had a show and I said the usual "I will be there" and had to phone the mrs saying I can't make it again. I do the same with my sons football. So things are going to have to change as if I was lying in a hospital bed at the age of 66 going to die,the last t…

Cooper Security is no more. Well, not quite. Seems they've decided to rename it Eaton, I forget who bought who. Corporatetastic!

  8. Started by Adi,

Does the enforcer have pre-alarm or whatever it is known as, where the panel sends a signal to the bell during entry, if the ball does not receive a further 'un-set' signal, it triggers? Ta

  11. Started by DAVE IN KENT,

Afternoon One if my colleagues is today trying to get a m2000 working but having some major issues. The system is very full one the 1st data line is completely full and the 2nd has currently got 7 mnodes on it. He is trying to add a keypad onto the 2nd line but every time he does a mnode falls off the line is wired in series and the longest run between expanders is about 30m, total run is about 200m I suppose. Can anyone A: suggest why adding a keypad knocks of a node B: does the data line need a resistor at the furthest point like a galaxy C: why would sytem struggle with a distance of more than 40 m between expanders ( reason I ask is in the past we have had to pu…
