Not sure if they are available yet but for those that care the Cooper website has changed slightly to reveal the new style keypads and an external combined prox/exit terminate... Well at least the names and specs anyway. http://www.coopersecurity.co.uk/products/productsindex.aspx?intProductID=381&intProductCategoryID=38 http://www.coopersecurity.co.uk/products/productsindex.aspx?intProductID=386&intTab=1&intProductCategoryID=34 Those who like pretty pictures will be a bit disappointed though, unless it's google chromes fault.

I have got one of these delightful panels. I take it it doesn't have outputs to connect to a webway and do the detectors talk to any other panel? They look very rokonet

these question are best addressed by the installers who visit you. many have preference or dislikes for particular makes. if. see Racal Appolo detectors, previous bad experiences means i won't take it over, without replacing with Risco detectors as example.

Struggling to get hold of these. We no longer fit much cooper stuff, but have lots of legacy stuff out there. Had a couple of sites recently that the rkps have needed replacing. On the older 9751 9651 (circa early 2000's) we have tried the newer 9943's but they don't work. We've had to upgrade the panel pcb to a newer software version. Are we stuck with this now?

Anyone fit them? Me and the apprentice fitted one this morning 1 x contact, 4 x PIR bell and decoy on a new build. Sparky had put a fuse spur in the hall ready for the alarm. Now I am not keen on wireless systems and I am not over keen on Pyronix. But it was fitted commissioned and handed over with a cheque in my hand in 55 minutes, I can't knock them for a quick buck. If I could get the whole estate and do 8 a day I would earn over £40k a month,

  13. Started by Rulland,

Evening All, Just a quicky, as per usual!. Will an AX10 remote prox reader wired to a 9943EN rkp allow setting and unsetting via the reader as opposed to the normal prox on the rkp asking 'do you wish to set the system' ?. Reason being I have system with four 100m Takex beams covering hgv's in a yard, I am hoping a remote prox on a gate post will allow setting/unsetting without access to the rkp (in an office), sort of defeats the object if the AX10 still requires confirmation via the rkp else, but I would assume that the AX10 would be pretty useless if it did need a tick on the rkp to set. Not really used to Scanny's so please be gentle with any sarcastic…

I found out something today that we can use Double pole at grade 3. I was under the impression we couldn't. However the discussion I was in was 'should' we (the uk) propose that we should not use double pole (cc wiring) at grade 3 and above. Make a note in the reg that its advisable at grade 2 etc etc. Would anyone have an issue with this, ie not being able to use double pole on a grade 3 system for circuit interconnections.
