Gazza would have you believe I have forgotten the job I used to do now I have a desk job so I've been set a challenge. Does TSI think I'm past it? If you do, I'll do an install with one of my lot and let it be filmed so gaz and co can zip the criticism. Over to the public vote.

I've got a stack of used CSL Dualcom boards ranging from software version 2.02 to 3.53 (which is the latest version you could download from CSL). I've seen a lot of videos showing 1.25. What versions of the board do you see in the wild?

I received a ticket last week for speeding on the M1, apparently I was doing 49mph when an overhead gantry said 40. I am pretty sure the gantry said 50, I am not disputing that I was doing 49mph but I would not do 9 mile over speed limit, trouble is how can you prove what the gantry says and when they change it down from 50 to 40 is there a delay before it gets you?

My car has one of those electronic handbrakes that you press and it puts it on rather than the traditional method. Driving along I wondered if the manufacturer had put any safeguards ie it only works when or actually stationary and how devastating the results might be if a child pressed it in error whilst doing 70 on the m6. The interest got the better of me and I can confirm that the manufacturer clearly didn't consider some idiot pressing it whilst the car was moving as a possibility.

Hi all, im looking to buy some test kit for doing minor works for fused spurs etc. Just wondering what other engineers are using as they are bloody expensive and most do stuff that only a spark would need.

Hi all I've just moved out into the sticks in Hertfordshire, and as we're fairly exposed, I have decided to get an alarm installed. I have seen from a few threads here that the general consensus is that Yale alarms are gash. With that in mind, I would very much appreciate a few tips of alarms to look out for (and a quote to carry out the work if anyone is near the Herts / Essex border?!) I really am clueless regarding this sort of stuff, so whenever looking at alarm online, I have no idea if some of the things included in packages are really necessary or not. Thanks in advance Greg

Got a question today which I can't really answer. Customer of ours rents out offices and new tenants are in therefore we need to change the name on the URN. Customer asks, why does it cost £65 to change a name? What do you tell your end users as I must confess, can't come up with a valid answer myself.
