Hi I've just moved into a new house with nexus 8 control panels. I'm looking to add a entry zone for the kitchen as well as the hall at the front door. How do I do this? Has anyone got the engineer manual as I can get it of the manufactures website.

I wonder if I could get some advice on a system to suit my needs please? 3 Bed detached house, no current security system, have a garden with a detached sectional garage approx 15m from the rear off the house. Ideally looking to be able to cover the garage at all times,. further partially arm the house at night (downstairs) and fully arm the whole system when we leave the premises. Been looking at the Scantronic ion 16 ,. as it can support 3 areas of zones and I am hoping the wireless coverage would reach my garage providing I mounted the control unit on the far wall of the house. Do you think a service manager should have some intruder / cctv knowledge / background to be able to fulfil the role as service manager successfully or can any admin type manager manage in this industry

I keep coming across people who keep getting cheap alarm fitters in then complaining about the quality. What the hell is wrong with these people. even if cash is hard to find, a reputable installer can still help. And, a basic alarm fitted by a pro is far better than a basic alarm fitted by a cowboy, yet the same price. What is going wrong, how can we change this stupidity?..... Maybe, registered Grade 1 installer certification is the answer?....Not sure.

i am a newbie in this, but i managed to configure my PowerMaster 10, but there are some features that i cannot access from the pannel, i found that for this i need the Visonic Remote Programmer, but i cant find it anywhere... do any of you guys have a link for download or maybe can share it with me via Dropbox or something like that? it would be greatly appreciated.

HI Just reticently installed a galaxy g2-20 with an RF module and 3 wirefree detectors. I've but one as final with 30 seconds exit and entry time and the other two are set to intruder. Also paired the detectors up with the panel using the force tamper method. Now when setting the system in full set the bar just stays to the right and theres no count down at all, could there be any reason for this just i've done two systems the same and never come across this before?, all i get is a constant beep and the system will now set, however if i try part setting the system I get a count down of 25 seconds and one of the detectors goes off when u go in the room, the…

Hi, im new and looking for a bit of advice. I currently have a 8 channel Robox Barracuda 1 Dvr with 4 600 tvl cameras with RG59 cable . I was happy at first but now im looking for a bit better quality and more range on the night vision. Im a bit of a novice at this and bought some new cameras from ebay and now im not even sure if they are HD. The cameras I got say 1200tvl on them which I was told was the same as HD is this true? The next problem is I plugged them in and they don't work. Hi, Just trying to use the panic function for the TCB800M-1 keyfob with the galaxy 2 after three seconds the LED's flash then nothing happens, I tried this while the system was unset!. The keyfob will set, unset part set and night set, I also assigned it through the user option, and under the master user Any advice would be great!
