In regards to installing a pair of external Pyronix XDL12TT detectors, would it be beneficial to purchase the XD-Wall Brackets as well? Or do the detectors have sufficient internal horizontal/vertical adjustment once fixed flat against a wall/fence post?

Hi Javing issue resetting after changing batteries in 2 wireless shock detectors (Risco units). Tamper reset is set to any code for sure, in fact all resets are set to any code. I have tried turning both unis off and then adding them back but the alarm will not reset. To reset I am entering main code, saying yes to set but all to no avail. I have checked the tamper springs etc in the sensors etc but the thing just does not want to reset If I remove all power (including backup battery) will this force a reset (I am guessing so) Any other ideas anyone?

Guys, I am having problems with my alarm. Whenever I switch the mains power on it alarms. I enter the code (I'm not even sure it's the correct code because it has never worked) and it does nothing. I have tried pressing the RST pins with a screwdriver blade but nothing happened. I don't know what to do, can someone advise me please? Cheers

Is anyone else using their alarm to control their lights and stuff? In my last house I automated stuff and controlled it using Galaxy gold, but everytime I wanted to switch something on or off remotely I had to find an internet connection for my laptop or connect my lappy to my mobile. No suh thing as apps and 3g back then. This house is far better my wife doesnt like all the tech but I being an techy idiot luv it, I love saying to Alexa movie night and watch the TV come on on the Netlfliks channel the curtains close the lights go out and the room goes purple, and my surround sound amm changes to TV mode. Hi, my alarm system gives a SERVICE" alarm at random times. If I understand the table correct, it relates to a fuse. The fuses seems to be not that "visible". On inspection, I found a loose component, and would like to identify that. Regards.

I have looked at various websites and found only a user guide which i already have. The system is quite old but still working fine. Hi all. After a family members house being broken into I’ve decided to update my current home alarm. Currently I have a basic non monitored alarm installed by a local company but sadly it doesn’t siren outside of the house if there’s a break in. It had the usual keypad, break sensor on front door and 4 motion sensors. I’m looking to purchase a DIY alarm I can install myself with some help. I’ve seen the Ring door bell alarm system advertised which seem good. My criteria is, control panel, minimum of 4 sensors, door contact breaker and ideally an exterior alarm which sirens LOUD if triggered.. also a discreet interior cam for our hall way. We stay on …

Can anyone recommend the best way to get control / notifications from Galaxy Flex V3 panel on mobile device? Panel has ethernet module and gsm module installed. I have also got the got GX Remote app on phone (not setup). Reading the above post I am now left wondering whether using Selfmon is the better way to go? Any advice gratefully received.

Has anyone successfully set up push notifications on the GX Remote? I have a Flex 20 with an A083 Ethernet Module. The panel is connected to the app but i cant figure the push notifications. Spoke to Honeywell TS twice requesting step by step guide but they have failed to send one.

Hi guys, I have a galaxy system split over two floors, keypad on each floor. Both floors have been split into groups, 1 and 2. Is it possible to designate floor 1 keypad to group 1 (floor 1) and that is the only set point for that floor and the other keypad to the other group and that will only set that group (2nd floor) effectively 2 separate systems. It would be great if we could use the same fob or code on both floors without selecting the group. Also, I’m assuming the exit tone will still be heard on both floors at the same time? They are wired into separate outputs. thanks in advance guys, sorry for the long drawn out post.

Hi I changed the battery on my veritas r8 alarm as it was stuck with tamper light on following a power cut. I had hoped the new battery would get me back to normal. However, when I try to set my alarm it doesn't work. I have tried #### code to reset it but it is now stuck with number 1 to 8 solid red and the green unset button also lit. I cannot change the code either using the old code - 60 - new code - prog-reset but goes back to the 8 lights on again. Can anyone help me get it working again?
