Hi all, I am stepping into intruder alarms after being a sparks for nearly 20 yrs. I am part of a firm who just does intruder alarms now and feel like an apprentice again but want to learn from the ground up... Any advice of any sort from seasoned intruder alarm installers would be much appreciated Regards

Hi all, got an install coming up - galaxy flex panel with dt pirs Any advice from anyone who has fitted these? Not my choice, it's been specced by others. Honeywell programming software looks like it costs an F-ing fortune. What's up with that? Regards

I have some ongoing issues with alarms. An understatement for sure especially for someone not in the trade . On a rear exit door is a magnetic door sensor. On replacing the battery firstly the alarm did not go off as per the other sensors, but also were blue and red lights on the frame sensor. These went away, but the alarm does not set (pyronix enforcer), and oddly when you put your finger near the sensor the blue light comes on. Any help appreciated

Not sure if anyone else is having issues who uses GX Remote Control for their Honeywell Galaxy/Dimension panels. Since yesterday when I receive an event I get repeat notifications continually, non stop. So setting the system, the phone pings continuously every 5 or so seconds with the "set" message and won't stop. One of my customers is having the same issue. Strangely I've found that receipt of a text message from anyone will kill the notifications from GX Remote Control until the next push notification. So each time the system is set/unset, my wife and I exchange a text to stop the issue! I've tried deleting and re installing the app but this doesn't fix…

I am having a problem with the playback, namely i can only see on playback one camera out of 4 at a time. I have real time from all 4 cameras, but when trying to see more than one camera on playback i get one camera with 3 black areas corresponding to the other cameras. If i click on any of the black areas then that displays the corresponding camera, but again only one camera is displayed/showing. This happened a month ago, so i rebooted thinking it would solve it but after a week the same occured. Is this a software/programme problem. I am not connected to the internet. Thanks for any advice.

We had a workmen in the road from the early hours today and the power has been out for pprox 6 hours, just back on now. Will the system clear once the battery charges back up?

Hi David, I've been trying to get in touch for a while now about your website but can't seem to get through to you... I figured either you've been eaten by alligators or you’re just plain swamped. If you have been eaten by alligators, my deepest sympathy goes out to your family members. If you’re still alive however, one of the following is more likely to have happened. I hate to keep pestering you, so please pick one response and let me know what our next step should be. A - Yes, I’ve been eaten by alligators. Please send flowers. B - No, I haven’t been eaten by alligators, but you may wi…
