Morning everyone! Thought I'd best introduce myself. Been doing fire alarms and emergency lighting now for about 10 years, after qualifying a a sparky! All we do is fire alarms so I'd like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable. All the best Shaun

Hi all. First post here done gentle! Lol. I installed a galaxy panel today and all was going well looking neat until I sleeve all the screens. Sort of turned in to a birds best after that. I don't fit intruder panels often as always seem to be doing break downs and servicing. Just seems like the panel never ends up looking how I set out for it to look. Any tips?

Hi Everybody I was wondering if there was a market out there for second hand/obselete parts for example keypads for alarms systems no longer made , discontinued locks or cctv parts I have a few such items cluttering up my garage.

Hi everyone, Already Loving the forum, wealth of information. Keep up the good work. I have a Alien DVR model DSD105 i require the firmware file as the DVR tends to hangs on boot up and pauses for about 20sec on the splash screen and then does a reboot cycle each time. I will probably have to remove the TSOP EEprom to program the firmware. I just can not seem to find the firmware for this 4 channel dvr. I hope someone here can help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everybody . I've been working for a company as a Alarm Respone officer, for the past 3 years and want to move forward in my life, Within the Security Industry. I did'nt realise how big the Security industry was and now i would 'nt mind learning how to install cctv systems and maintance.
