I have been in the industry since I left school in 1990, worked for gardiner security (remember them?) for a while before leaving to work for Shorrock Security. Shorrock eventually turned into Chubb, then it suddenly went down hill fast rather fast. Now working for a smaller local company doing the same....

I am Marius and I have experience with Texecom Premier and I am starting to work with Galaxy . I am installing Paxton access control as well . I am trying to get familiar with Galaxy systems before attending a course, with a list of questions ready to be asked .

Evening all! I have just installed a texecom 12w panel and I am having problems when I start to set the alarm with one of the wireless sensors, it says zone 10 preventing setting even though its not in an active state . Also the wireless sensors dont seem to activate once the alarms set .... any ideas? Thanks.

Good evening Guy's , my names Antony I'm a Aerial & Satellite Rigger, I've been installing networked CCTV systems for friends and colleagues to build a portfolio for myself, i'm being a good boy and studying in between . I'm pretty competent at what I do but I've only really done CCTV on commercial premises. I took on a residential project and I need a little help on PIR Sensor Cameras with working pir I can run back into the alarm, can anyone point me in the right direction Thank you Antony

My company (Pendle security) is a spin-off from my rental business (B & M Properties) and we now have a growing installed base of mainly Texecom Premier systems, although we maintain a few Honeywell Galaxy systems. We also provide central station monitoring via EMCS. I am also looking to acquire Galaxy Gold software so if anyone has a redundant or surplus to requirements version please contact me.

Hi all, I figured I had better register as I have been to this site many times in the past. I have now settled back in the UK after about 8 years in oz. Just started working for a company in Manchester and am a little rusty on the way things are done this side of the pond.
