I need a system with vibration sensors for the windows, door contacts and a PA button. I'd like it monitored. I can install it myself or I'm happy to have it professionally installed. Any suggestions please?

Have installed an alarm in my shop. Texecom elite system. we have a risco break glass sensor fitted onto the ceiling. we have a double door system but when the door closes it tends to slam and this sets of the break glass sensor. Also there is a mag lock on the door and that locking also causes the sensor to go off

  3. Hi I have a Honeywell Accenta/optima ADE Gen4 installed in my home. The system was already installed when we moved in. I have the bell on the outside of of the garage with 1 display panel and Accenta mini panel on the wall inside the garage. The 2nd display panel is under the stairs in the house, with a sonit 1 speaker above. Last night the alarm sounded twice, about 2 hours apart. Each time I checked around the house, nothing to report. I didn't think of checking the log until this morning. The alarm usually sounds when we have a brief power cut, so before I checked the log, I tried turning the power off and on at the fuse bo…

  4. Hi I've read through a few threads and it looks like people on here know what's happening. I had solar installed 2 days ago. At the time, the sparks accidently turned on an old Elmdene alarm system (*not used in 10 years). He managed to turn it off, but it turned itself back on at midnight this eve. I switched off the fuses at the mains but outside still ringing. I rang ADT and looked elsewhere but all brutal advice. Anyone here have ideas how to turn it off without killing myself or blowing up the house? Or even, who I might contact?

Hello, I have just installed a new Pyronix Deltabell plus and a new battery for the alarm panel. (Citydell XR2) As soon as I power it up from either the mains or connecting the battery it goes straight into tamper mode. (Even if the tamper spring is depressed) I can then input my code to silence the alarm, but after this the keypad goes dead. I cannot get it out of tamper mode and none of the keys make a noise when pressed like they usually do ! I’ve checked the tamper on the deltabell plus and the cover is definitely pressing the switch down. Any advice ?

Hoping I can get some help from the experts here. Much appreciated in advance! So... I am setting up a DIY alarm system using the kit from Konnected.io ( https://konnected.io ). I am all set on how everything works, except getting a little stuck on something regarding sirens. I'm going for a Pyronix Deltabell E for my external siren. And internally, I'm a little confused on something, hoping to get some advice. I'm looking at the Pyronix Twin Alert sounder ( https://www.pyronix.com/uk/products/twin-alert-internal-sounder ) for an internal siren. I understand that the bell input of this works like a usual siren where bringing the input low makes the…

Recently completed install of a Honeywell FX100+ system. Everything has gone reasonable well, thanks in a large part to feedback from the experts on this forum. When arriving home and un-setting the system, my wife follows the usual enter PIN and press ENT. Upon pressing ENT my wife sees the message below on the keypad. Is there a way to stop this message from appearing? Want to make my wife's experience really straight forward.

Hello, We have had a Scantronic 9448+ for a while. It was installed in the house when we moved in. It has been working fine and only needed little attention over the years. I changed the battery and about 6 years ago we had a PIR changed. Recently the alarm played up. The alarm triggered when we set it almost immediately. I checked the log with 8 - enter - code and it indicated one faulty zone - actually with the recently changed PIR - and I ordered a new PIR. As the older ones are Risco I ordered a Risco iWISEBus. The PCB is different but I thought it should work.... In the process of changing the PIR I triggered the alarm a few times …

  9. Installing a new FX100+ with a MK7 proxpad, and have come across the same issue outlined in this POST which describes... I enter the engineer code and press ESC and it checks for tampers and comes up with 1 Mod tamper which when viewed is Keypad 011. I followed the suggestion of holding down the tamper button and trying to exit engineer mode, but the same fault remains? Could this be a faulty keypad? The keypad is set to ID 0 not sure if that matters in this case?

Hi all! I am planning the installation of an intrusion system on a flat I've recently purchased. All windows are west facing so they get hit everyday with the Sun but I'll have a privacy film installed and curtains that will cut a lot of glare, but even so I am planning on installing all PIRs facing inside according to the attached blueprint. The control panel is a Texecom Premier Elite 88 with a ComIP and a ComGSM for backup. Some questions: 1. Do you guys think this a good placement of PIRs? They are all DualTec from Honeywell (DT8016AF4) and they are represented by the blue arrows. 2. On each sliding window (including the…

  12. Hi all, I've recently bought the house but only got the user code off the previous owner. Have had a new kitchen installed but needed to move the (second) keypad by an inch, in doing so set off the tamper on the keypad. I did a user reset but keypads showed Call Installer. As I have no Engineer code, I reset all the codes with the first level reset (I think also mistakenly have reset everything to default). Now in the situation when the system powers up the internal sounder is permanently on when unset, but when the system is set - it stops, restarting when I unset the system. I've set up the sensors again (there are 4, all PIR - one FE, others…

Approx 10 years ago I installed a Galaxy G2-20 with multiple DO8M contacts at my house and it has been working fine since. Recently I have a strange problem where I originally thought the D08M sensor was defective so I changed the zone to not used like I have done in the past. I also removed the serial number in the RF options but when I take the alarm out of installor mode it fails on zone sabotage while nothing is configured. Im not a specialist and I cannot find back my notes so some help is much appreciated! ?

  14. As a favour to one of my customers (as i'm not an alarm installer but an IT Ubiquiti engineer) I installed a Pyronix Enforcer for him. It was simple enough, 2 door sensors Wireless, 4 roller shutter Wireless, a Master blaster siren on the bell output wired to bell and com, a flasher unit wired to strobe and com. Everything worked great. Yesterday I added a wired door sensor with a 25 meter cable run, wired it up to Z34 and com, it worked fine. However the sirens and strobe stopped outputting. During tests even the standard wireless outdoor siren won't sound. Any ideas please, i'm at the end of my tether with this. Thank you

  15. Looking add a Pyronix Wired FPDELTAX-LIGHT Extra Bright Light Panel for Deltabell to my dummy to match the live box. It comes a connector 4 pins to delta x board. So planning to cut the connector off and supply 12v to red and black. What the other two cables for?
